Bubble Waffle Cafe

This is my first time visiting here, and I was impressed by the service. The portion sizes are very good for the price compared to other places in the downtown area. The service was quick and friendly, which is impressive considering it's a food court where customer service can often be challenging. Overall, I was very satisfied with both the food and the service.

I've always loved Hong Kong milk tea and have tried many Hong Kong milk teas in various places, but I think this is the only place where it's so cheap and tastes just as good as the others, and this time I ordered the number 1 chicken rice! Others have rated it low, but I think the price and quantity are just right for students and office workers on their break. If you pour the garlic sauce over the rice, it's gentle on your stomach and delicious ✨👍 The staff smiles when you order and calls out the number you ordered loudly, No complaints for anything! 🙇‍♀️

SCAM ALERT. $16 for hainanese chicken rice… when I got my food the rice was just plain white rice. When I confronted the counter staff the lady said that is correct, the dish is “hainanese chicken” with rice. So apparently the rice is not hainanese, which is a complete contradiction to what the dish’s name is. You are lying to customers. It’s like ordering paella with plain rice…I did not finish my food and will never return here again… seeing the rest of the reviews it seems they don’t care because this is a reoccurring issue. Awful business

This is absolutely the worst Hainanese chicken rice in town. I ordered this during lunch hour at the Royal Centre location and it was just disgusting! They were just wrong in every way! The rice was plain white rice instead of "chicken rice" and it was soggy, mushy and burnt! The chicken was awful and ugly. I couldn't even finished half of it. Please do not sell this dish if you couldn't make it properly!! Please avoid this restaurant!!

Laksa soup is where its at.

Just terrible. Possibly the worst Bubble Waffle store and the worst food court lunch I've had in awhile. See picture for the Hai Nan chicken that is wrong in every way. Please just stop selling this if you can't make it properly.

Horrible customer service. Ordered a simple sichuan fish soup meal and the soup and drink that I received was the wrong order. The younger fellow working there is rude and has an overall unprofessional attitude. Apparently calling a customer "Yo" is acceptable to him.

Worst franchise location ever. Choose another option here. Flavor of the chicken peppery soup tasted like 100% chicken bouillon powder compared to other locations. Looks sad lacks veggies and other stuff on top compared to other locations I chose the beef ball sliced beef. Compared to other locations this is very subpar

Awesome in everyway.

The preserved egg chicken soup was tasty but a little too salty. Good portion size. Terrible take-out packaging! The lid for the soup doesn’t close all the way no matter how hard it’s pressed down. In the 2 minutes it took to walk over to my office, the soup container leaked from the rim and got everything in the plastic bag wet.

I haven’t been here for a year or so and I used to get their hainanese chicken rice all the time, it wasn’t the best but I knew what I was buying into. Then today I got the hainanese chicken rice and it is completely different from the photo and from what they used to serve. The chicken was fatty, it wasn’t even turmeric rice it was plain white old rice and the they put a large amount of random ginger sauce all over the chicken soaking in two inches of oil. If I could give this less a than a star I would.

They have photos on the wall and the product they actually offer is not what you’re ordering, apparently. If you’re going to give people plain white rice instead of chicken rice, then this should be explained prior to an order going through. Won’t be back.
