Mixed feelings about Budgies. Food seems to be consistently good, and decent value. Music is always great! Some of the staff are super sweet. Others have that too-cool-to-be-kind vibe that makes me want to run out the door. The, er, politically positioned poster board will make some folks feel very unwelcome.

The food was alright. We got tacos and burritos and I think the rice is not fresh because there were hard pieces of rice in the burrito (dried up rice) which was unpleasant. Service was alright - it's more like a fast food setting where you order your food, they drop off your food to your table. Water is self serve and you clean up after your meal.

My friends love this place and I came in for a quick bite. The guy at the counter was super nice and gave his recommendations since it was my first time. There's lots of seating downstairs and it has a retro vibe.
I got the RIP taco because I wasn't that hungry and was intrigued by the tofurky. It was fine but I thought it was pretty bland. It was a bit of a letdown since my friends love this place so much. This review is more reflective of my own experience but my friends who got burritos really enjoyed their food although I didn't try them.
