There are many Vietnamese restaurants and cafés along Victoria Drive; however, Bun Cha Ca is definitely one of the better options. The customer service there was friendly and super nice, to the point of making (very good) suggestions with regards to the menu. Of course, the star here is the food. The Fish Cakes have been reviewed very favourably, and this dish is definitely a must. Juicy and bursting with flavours, served with salad and the vinegary sauce that complements Vietnamese dishes. Salad rolls are another specialty, very fresh. Dip into their crunchy peanut sauce, and enjoy... And then the phó! Ordered the Hot and Sour Seafood Noodles, so good! Squid, fish, fish cake, shrimp in a broth that is perfect. The portions are generous, and the prices very fair. If you are in the neighborhood, you have to do yourself a favour and visit this establishment.

This is THE BEST Vietnamese food you can get. You might think the prices may be a bit more expensive but trust me this is worth it, especially the rich tomato fish noodle soup.Parking: there are parking spots up front as well as the back and around the blockWheelchair accessibility: There are a few step of stairs up front with no ramp so it might be a challange

Always love to go for fish or squid cake noodle with lots of herbs and now price is abit high than before ($17+ per bowl) and the big plate of chicken wings is yum too.Vegetarian options: They have veggie soup if you want.Kid-friendliness: Spacious for scroller and comfy restaurant

Food for two: $60 including drinks.Positive: this place is famous for their vietnamese fish cake and squid cake in Canada. Interior is clean, spacious, neat decor. Food was delicious, fresh and pho broth was clear yet seasoned well. Prices are great for 2024. Service is just as good. Bathroom are well maintained. Free street parking is available.Cons: NoneFood for thought: its look like a hole in the wall restuarant that may be mistaken for mediocrity. But this place has survived through word of mouth, with delicious, well priced menus. You will have to line up during peak hours.

This restaurant is a typical cafeteria-style restaurant like I know from Vancouver. The food is average, not too little, not too much, tastes OK. The service is miserable.

The food here is very good. My in-laws never try Vietnamese food before, and really like Vietnamese food because of this place. Their crab noodle soup was good! Highly recommended! Price was reasonable and the service was good. :) It is always busy but I don’t blame them, their food is good.

Drove from Richmond to have the Bun rieu!! This is my first time here but not my lady’s. It was quite chaotic, even though it was Easter Monday and technically not a stat. I don’t dig standing in line, especially for Vietnamese food. Kindly asking people in front and we found out you just line up and there’s no sign-in method. Eventually staff does come and the line moves faster than you think it will. It’s actually bigger than it looks, too, as there are hidden rooms in the back. The restaurant is nicer than I expected, as well. Back to the Bun rieu, it was good and exceptional value, though Com in Richmond has a zippier taste, but for a lot more money. The Pho was pretty ordinary but again the portion was big so it was good value.

Best bun cha ca in town. Get a side of their salad rolls or fried squid cakes too!

Gets busy, so come during off times and you are good. The crab pho or dill pho is the way to go. Stick with the staple items.
