We were seated at the bar which I loved. There is something about an open kitchen and watching people work who are clearly so passionate about what they do. We had the radicchio menu and it was incredible! We started with the scallops, too and added in the wagyu beef alone with the wine pairing and each course just got better and better. The wine pairings were perfect. The staff was kind and knowledgeable and really made the whole night perfect. I will certainly go back as well as check out Chef Andrea’s other places. Thank you for the best food experience I’ve had in years.

Went there for my birthday, and it was a great time. The menu is creative, focusing on radicchio. My absolute favorite dish was the short rib, super flavorful and cooked to perfection.

Burdock & Co delivers an exceptional dining experience that truly celebrates the artistry of local, seasonal ingredients. We recently had a curated dinner here, and I can confidently say that every dish was a masterpiece—thoughtfully crafted, beautifully presented, and packed with rich, complex flavors.
The tasting menu ($150 per person) felt like a journey through the essence of Pacific Northwest cuisine. From the delicate starters to the imaginative main courses, each bite showcased the restaurant’s commitment to sustainable sourcing and culinary innovation. The flavors were so memorable that we ended up buying the Burdock & Co cookbook to try and recreate some of the dishes at home.
If you’re someone who appreciates meticulous attention to detail and bold, fresh flavors, Burdock & Co is not to be missed. This meal was an experience worth savoring, and we’ll definitely be back for more.

I’ve dined at enough Michelin starred restaurants throughout Europe, Asia, the USA and our very own Alo and Enigma Yorkville in Toronto to know that burdock and co is the least deserving of a star. We had the tasting menu with “premium” wine pairing and ordered all of the sides. There was nothing premium about the wine- they were all very young wines. All of the food was below average to very bad. Save your money and eat anywhere else.

Great experience. First time to Burdock & Co and just have to say that the service is top notch. Everyone was so kind and knowledgeable and passionate about the food. We went for a tasting menu featuring raddichio. First time trying it and was surprised by the variety of flavour you can get out of a vegetable. There were 6 courses + macarons and we were full by the end of it. We also did get the sourdough bread but we could've not ordered it and still be full. Overall the food and flavours were exquisite, service was amazing and the ambiance was perfect for a special occasion.

Fantastic tasting menu and restaurant. Each month is different and a surprise so go with it. Ours was raddicio and while not the most exciting, each dish was technical and well presented, flavours were spot on, and good creativity. We shared a premium wine pairing and discovered some fantastic wines, as we would expect to.
Definitely will come back again for another seasonal menu!

The restaurant we visited featured an exceptionally knowledgeable host and sommelier who truly elevated our dining experience. Opting for the wine pairing, we were treated to an array of wines, each accompanied by a fascinating story that enriched our understanding and enjoyment. Their deep expertise and passion for wine shone through in every tale, transforming the meal into a delightful journey through vineyards and vintages. As always, the food was superb, but this time, each dish seemed even more exquisite when paired with the carefully selected wines

3 stars: 1. culinary creativity, 2. dietary accommodations, 3. staff friendliness. 2 stars off: 1. pretentiousness, 2. atmosphere (poor lighting and staff [lack of] uniform).
Came here for a wedding anniversary. Yes, it is a Michelin star restaurant; yes, the culinary creations are innovative and unique; yes, it is therefore prestigious and impressive. Alas, it is not for me. For our visit, the featured ingredient was radicchio. Every dish (creations!) was romanced with a story of origins and significance (even the gratuitous bread). While we appreciated the staff's knowledge and the novelty of creative presentations, a salad is still just a salad. Don't be alarmed by the portion sizes: you may still be full by the end of the tasting menu (well, depends on your stomach size). To celebrate our special occasion, we were give two slices of apples that were from a "special orchard", cultivated through a "special agricultural process", from a "special region" of the province. Since the staff there wore plain clothing like the patrons, I was a little worried that I would accidentally flag down a guest for services. Call me old-fashioned! The lighting is (very) dim for coziness, so if you have vision issues, be prepared to bring your own flashlight to view the menu (and bill!).
All in all, it was a fun experience. If you like a unique dining experience that awakes (and shocks) all your senses, and you are there to impress, it might be worth a try. Be sure to increase your credit limit on your card first though!

Great food experience with excellent service. Staff patiently answered all of my questions, and promptly addressed what we needed. Love this cute little restaurant! And we love their farm to table concept.
