While some may find dining at Cactus Club to be a somewhat generic experience, I find the menu to be full of appealing and tasty choices. This Cactus Club sits right on English Bay Beach and the unimpeded views out to the Bay are spectacular in any weather. You cannot do better in the West End for good value Happy Hour on a Tuesday when bottles of wine go for half-price. We always seem to get outstandingly friendly servers who take very good care of us. Cactus Club English Bay is definitely our go-to local restaurant when we're looking for good food in a casual elegant atmosphere.

Great place to eat, good food, good drinks and good service! Nothing to complain. Prices were quite reasonable.
Inside the music was a little to loud for my liking, but still ok to have a conversation.

I’m really disappointed with my experience at Cactus Club Cafe. I clearly told them not to add cheese to my burger, but they still served it with cheese. This is something I mentioned specifically, and it’s very frustrating when your dietary requests aren’t respected. It ruined my meal, and I didn’t enjoy it at all. I hope they pay more attention to customer instructions in the future.

The ambience, food and views are superb here. The staff is super friendly. It has become my favorite cafe in the city in my very first visit.

Hugo, our server made our experience delightful, including a birthday dessert for my daughter. The food was delicious, and the view of English Bay was just perfect. Our hostess took great care and helping us determine what area of the restaurant would be best for us. Local valet parking for $13 made it easy to get in and out.

Seagulls come nearby which can improve the ambience. However, the owners of the 🌵 club should ensure that there are no bird droppings where clients are waiting in line or dining.

2025-11-26 update: Flu season now. Do your part to stop it. Wash your hands etc... You know the drill! Otherwise you made the choice to catch/ spread the flu. H3N2 subclass K. Nasty just outright nasty!
