Nice spot serving HK style breakfast
Good size dishes. Lots of variety. Service was good.
Food is great and there is a huge variety available.
The staff were attentive and caring, they saw my two kids and brought out spoons and forks before my husband and I asked for them.
Great HK style cafe ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Cafe Gloucester makes red bean with ice right, the way they should be made and the traditional HK-way. The portions are decent and my favourite things to order here are definitely the baked pork chop on rice, curry beef brisket, and their French toast.
We always leave with our appetites satisfied :)
They have very good iced red bean drink and Malaysian fried rice. The atmosphere is quite out dated.
This place has been around forever and it's still just as good! The 上海炒年糕 is so good! Same with the 魷魚穌! Parking is decent in the area too.
One of my favourite HK cafe in the city. So delicious and great value - portions are super generous. We like any of their baked tomato sauce dishes, thai style fried rice, and their steamed halibut with black bean sauce.
Delicious food, however, the older lady waitress with glasses and short hair was rude. It was my first time being there, and I asked about the mini set menu. She rudely pointed to the menu and, in a rude manner, said these are it. Her demeanor was hostile and unkind. I then ordered, and as soon I did, she asked what drink? And I asked for almond milk. On the menu, it said $4.50, so I asked if that is the price since the menu was not clear at all (for a first comer to their restaurant). She then said something but I couldn't understand what she said. So I re-asked, and then that's when she gave me a glare and said it's included. She could have just said it again without the hostility. So I apologized to her for not hearing what she said and ordered. The food was amazing, but the rude waitress lady made me feel uncomfortable. As more people came to be seated , I could hear her speaking in a pleasant voice speaking in Cantonese. Is it because I dont speak the language? What is her problem? I'm not sure if I would return. Still left 15% tip since based on her demeanor, she seems to be very unhappy with her life or something.
We visited this restaurant for lunch last Wednesday. The food selection and quality were fine, but nothing exceptional. Considering the relatively high prices compared to similar restaurants that offer better quality and service, we felt a 15% tip was fair—if not generous.
To our surprise, the server commented that the tip wasn’t sufficient. We've never experienced a restaurant openly expressing dissatisfaction with a customer's tip before, and we found this quite unprofessional and disappointing.

Good food
Good wok hei on the rice noodles. Enough food for two meals. Jook full of beef and preserved egg.
Just so so. Russian soup too watery. Steak overcooked. Tasteless lemon tea.
Amazing place and very friendly environment!
Delicious food. I came on a Sunday and has to wait for 30 minutes.
