Tried the matcha latte to go but it didn’t quite hit the mark for me. The flavor felt a bit off — not much of that rich matcha taste, and even with half sugar, it was still a bit too sweet. Not really my favorite spot on this street.

I went shopping in Gastown today, and I noticed this Paris-based Japanese style café. I had heard from a friend before that it was pretty good, so I decided to go in and check it out. The space is quite narrow but very long, with plenty of seating. The decor is simple, but I really liked the natural wood elements.
Their selection of pastries is limited, but they have a wider variety of coffee options. I ordered a cortado. The staff spoke gently and sweetly, and the coffee they made was beautifully presented. The prices are also very reasonable. After finding a seat, they brought the coffee over to me — the service was excellent.
Enjoying the lively music while sipping delicious coffee made for a really pleasant atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back here often.

As with most coffee shops these days, it’s a little overpriced ($3.50 for an espresso) but my cortado was silky, smooth, and delicious! The bathroom was out of order but the staff were very kind!
This is a fine place to go hang out with your friends. The decor is cute for sure.
They had an insanely huge matcha menu but the matcha was so bland, literally tasted like milk. I got the misto so it has less milk than their latte. I even asked the barista if the matcha can handle the milk. I’d recommend the just tea if you like the taste of matcha.
It’s very expensive and they also do not allow tablets or laptops. So be warned. It’s a cute place to bring your friends from out of town but otherwise not my vibe.

Small but cute cafe. Staff in cafe and store are so kind and helpful. I enjoyed the hojicha cake and the black and white latte. No Wi-Fi here for working as the signs tell you all around the cafe.
