Tried the matcha latte to go but it didn’t quite hit the mark for me. The flavor felt a bit off — not much of that rich matcha taste, and even with half sugar, it was still a bit too sweet. Not really my favorite spot on this street.
I went shopping in Gastown today, and I noticed this Paris-based Japanese style café. I had heard from a friend before that it was pretty good, so I decided to go in and check it out. The space is quite narrow but very long, with plenty of seating. The decor is simple, but I really liked the natural wood elements.

In the heart of gastown, this little cafe is charming and delicious.
Staff is so friendly and the place is nice and clean.
