The BEST cafe in downtown Vancouver hands down. The owners take great thought into in the quality of their coffee, food. All the staff are always friendly and welcoming.

Was waiting in line to order a coffee when I heard the staff making disgusting remarks about homeless people in this city to what I believe was a tourist. I was so shocked I walked out and left. Will not be returning.

Philip and his team are so amazing and kind! We tried their mango matcha as well as regular matcha, and it did not disappoint!! Stopping by and chatting it up with the owner himself was one of the highlights of our day today. Amazing service and amazing vibe! We will definitely be visiting again, maybe Red velvet matcha next??!

I tried a Peppermint Candy Matcha Slush. Good balance of minty and matcha flavour. Give the croissants a try too!

I stopped by Cafeclub and tried their seasonal drink, Grinch’s North Pole Matcha, and it was easily the highlight of my visit.
The drink comes as a matcha slushy topped with a light, creamy foam sprinkled with festive red accents. It looks playful but tastes surprisingly refined. The matcha flavor is clean and earthy—bold enough for matcha lovers but still refreshing because of the icy slush texture. It isn’t overly sweet, which I really appreciated, and the cold slushy base makes the matcha feel brighter and smoother than a typical latte.
Cafeclub itself has a fun modern vibe. It’s the kind of place where everything feels intentionally designed—simple, stylish, and a bit cheeky.
If you like matcha drinks with a twist, this one is absolutely worth trying. It feels festive without being gimmicky, and genuinely tastes great. I’d definitely come back for it.

This cafe has fantastic coffee, delicious treats that are great for my morning commute. I cannot deny the quality of their goods. Every time I’ve come in, I’m usually greeted very kindly and welcoming, (particularly by the woman with the lip ring and the Spanish(?) man) but on more than one occasion, I’ve been helped by a gentleman who is always wearing a beanie who seems to be in a sour mood. The first couple of times I thought, hey, we’re all human. We have off days. Maybe he’s going through something. But the more I’ve visited, the less inclined I am to stick around. Yes, we are human, However, it does not excuse his passive aggressive attitude towards the other staff members! I’ve given this man the benefit of the doubt, but acting rudely towards your colleagues (or staff? He might be a manager/owner) is unacceptable. I’ve witnessed it a few times now, and can’t help but think this guy is a bully. It’s a small space, and your open concept cafe allows us to see all. Ive seen a cast of networkers come and go, and I’m not surprised if it’s because of him.
I’ve also seen him snub customers the same way. Once, an older gentlemen in front of me asked if they had a physical menu, and this beanie guy seemed annoyed, explaining the concept that it’s an online cafe etc. but if a person can’t get a simple cup of coffee without some pretentious word vomit, what’s the point? Why alienate this older man, and explain it to him in a patronizing way?
You can get good coffee in so many other places in downtown Vancouver, but most importantly you can get coffee from a place that shows respect to others.

Amazing café with consistently great service.
The cashier is always friendly and welcoming, and the barista makes excellent drinks. Their salted hojicha latte is insanely good—I’ve been here three times and the quality has been perfect every time. Highly recommend!

I really love this place! the chia parfait is always perfect! However, I visited a few days ago and tried the North Pole Matcha Latte, and it was a bit disappointing because it had mint in it. I admit I didn’t ask about the ingredients since I saw it on the menu and assumed it would be good.
When I let the server know that I don’t do mint, I honestly thought she would replace the drink, but instead she just removed the cream topping where the mint was. By then, the flavor had already been affected and the drink tasted pretty bland. I understand this was partly my fault for not asking, but I was expecting better customer service in this situation.
I still finished the matcha, and I will definitely come back because I really enjoy the menu. I just think situations like this could be handled differently, and it would be helpful if the menu clearly stated when an item contains something like mint or other flavors that are triggering.
