Came to this place on a Wednesday evening, the bar was almost full, great atmosphere, very friendly staff, live Jazz music and people enjoying themselves. One of the busiest bars I’ve seen in Vancouver mid week… good food and good drinks!

Caffe Barney is for the people. No notes (except can we bring back the chalk wall?)
If you're ordering a burger, make sure you do it across the street at Bin 14.

The food was good. It is quite a busy placeand it is definetly not a caffe but more of a bar/pub. The portions were slightly disappointing given the price and there was a quite a long wait time, around 30-40 minutes. We did go at a pretty crowded time so I guess that is to be expected. Earlier hours might provide a better service and warmer food but for brunch it was okay.

Friendly Staff - Good spot for Vegans/Gluten Free - Sports and brunch in the move
Sunday funday brunch spot! Came here so we could watch sports and enjoy breakfast. We got the regular Eggs Benedict and eggs and toast. Portion sizes were good! Staff was super friendly, but the food wasn’t anything I’d rave about. Wouldn’t go way out of your way for a meal here but if it’s in the area it’s a decent spot to check out.

My wife and I tried the eggs benedict, but unfortunately, it was disappointing. The hollandaise sauce lacked any flavor, and the eggs were overly watery. My wife found hers so unappetizing that she couldn’t even finish it.

Food (particularly omelettes) is very good, and the espresso comes from next door, (Bean Around the World) which is excellent.
Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options, which are always very good!

I came here Saturday the service was great very fast and friendly, I ordered the burger and fries. The fries were crispy and the burger was very juicy but it did have a gamey taste, I wondered if it was lamb or something but the menu said all beef. I’d go back but probably wouldn’t order the burger again.

I was disappointed. The staff never asked how I wanted my eggs cooked, On top of that, the food overall wasn’t tasty and lacked flavor. I expected better quality and attention to detail.
