Great taste with reasonable price and great services. We got wrong orders but it was me who did not communicate our orders clearly, and it was not at all a mistake from their part. Once the waiter and owner knew of the wrong orders, they were more than happy to redo our orders and make sure we get what we intended to order. Will definitely be back!!

We went for a late dinner as it’s like 10 minute before 11pm. The owner accommodated us and surprisingly the food is amazing. I had pork lemon grass which is flavourful than usual. This place is a gem!

Cambie Vietnamese Restaurant offers amazing food with generous portions. The pho broth is both clear and flavorful, while the savory stew and fresh bread contribute to a delightful dining experience. The constant busyness reflects the restaurant's popularity, and the great value for the price, coupled with fast service, makes it a definite go-to.

Food was delicious and the service was awesome. I had to work late one night and I was craving for hot noodle soup after work. It was already past 10 pm when I got there (they close at 10), but they still took me in and made me a bowl of noodle soup. I really appreciated it. They made my night.

It was cold so I went in to buy some rice noodles, but there was so much! I couldn't even finish 1/3 of it. Still, the food tasted like rice noodles suited to Korean tastes!

The food is very normal with the price and portion being reasonable. Rice noodles are not handmade it tastes like they bought from the supermarket. It is not as good as lunch

Cambie Vietnamese Restaurant is your Local Vietnamese family-run restaurant in downtown Vancouver. After reading many reviews, I went in with high expectations only to come out disappointed. We walked into an empty restaurant and was greeted by the owner, who was the only waiting staff on shift at the moment. At the restaurant, my girlfriend and I ordered the prawn supreme on sugar cane, lemongrass chicken with rice, and a rare beef pho. The prawn supreme was seasoned pounded shrimp wrapped around a piece of sugarcane and roasted. Having eaten it, I felt like the sugarcane did not add much to the pounded prawns, as I would expect it to bring out the sweetness of the prawns. To me, the sugarcane prawns were nothing spectacular and did not wow or surprise me. On the other hand, the lemongrass chicken lacked depth in flavor, especially from the lemongrass. What was more disappointing was that the rice that came with it was wet, mushy, and watery. It was not pleasant to eat, as this was the first time I did not finish my rice in a Vietnamese restaurant. Lastly, when the pho came, the first thing I noticed was puddles of oil on top. It looked like they drizzled oil on top of the pho. I have never seen a bowl of pho with so much oil. In addition, the soup lacked the heartiness and beefiness a bowl of pho should have. Overall, I was quite disappointed with the quality of the food presented to me during my visit to the restaurant. Perhaps it was because of Covid that the restaurant decided to lower its standards and cheapen out. The only thing I was content with was the prices, which are reasonable for a Vietnamese restaurant in Vancouver.

For the price, this is easily the biggest pho portion I know in the city. And tastes excellent, top 3 pho I have tried.
