Great place to have buffet style dinner before the game

$89 buffet. If attending a Canucks game at Rogers arena, one can reserve seating at the Captain’s Room to dine before watching the game. The reservation holds the table for the entirety of the game so that you can go back during intermissions and even after the game to relax and avoid the post game traffic jams. Service from staff is friendly and welcoming. Food options vary from game to game - prime rib is always a highlight but on this particular occasion the carvery featured roast beef. The surf and turf was a highlight as was the sablefish and brussel sprouts. Salad and charcuterie options plus chilled prawns and snow crab legs. Various mini desserts and fruits, with this night also featuring gelato at the first intermission and crème brûlée at the second intermission. There’s also a popcorn station and bags for you to make your own mix of ingredients to take back to your seat including Japanese rice crackers, pretzels, chops, cheese puffs and even wasabi peas! Service always good. A must-experience to try at least once if ever going to a Canucks game!

Absolutely phenomenal. Loved this place, unfortunately it was my first and probably only visit I'll ever be able to do as we attended with some friends who are season ticket holders.The food and service was amazing, and in between periods felt like a couple of minutes as you were busy getting food and chatting.Definitely somewhere you need to experience at least once. I'd love to go back but like I said, it'll probably never happen again unfortunately.

A+ presentation of the food, it was so delicious and our service was/is top rate Kelly was fantastic, friendly, great sense of humor, highly recommended.
The price has gone up ($75 pp) this year but I feel that the food options and quality have gone down. The seafood /cold platters used to have so many more options and were freshly prepared - snow crab legs used to be super flavourful and meaty but now the quality of the seafood isn't as fresh. The desserts are so miniscule now that its probably more effort to make the in these tiny "bite" sizes than what its worth.

As a fellow Canucks season ticket holder , I’ve been able to enjoy the captains room twice , and the food is amazing they have 3 stations to choose from prime rib , rotating table (the nights I went one day was short rib and the other night was Korean fried chicken) and a dessert tableable to keep your personal belongings at your seat during the game and come back during intermission5-7 they have hot and cold food and desserts1st intermission just cold food and desserts2nd intermission just desserts and they have a small bag of popcorn waiting for you at your tableI’ll def being back in toe foreseeable future , hopefully one more time this season

We had a great experience celebrating our daughter’s birthday. Our server Eddie was amazing especially with both our kids (2 year old and 8 month old). Speaking as a mom, I was very pleased that they had high chairs and a family washroom just steps away. The food as top notch and they went above and beyond to ensure we had everything. The service was beyond our expectations and we would definitely do it again with the kids. Thank you to the team at the Captain’s Room for making our daughters 2nd birthday a unforgettable evening.
