Oh, this place is just stunning. You’re welcomed by a fantastic and cozy interior from the first moments inside. Our server, Sarah, was very cheerful and talkative, and we had an excellent chat with some helpful insights. The meal—oh man—exceeded our expectations. The Pasta Bigoli al Nero is highly recommended; it's probably my new favorite dish now. There’s also a great selection of drinks. We celebrated our small anniversary here and received special attention along with small, thoughtful gifts. We’ll definitely be coming back soon!

Carlino is a no frills Italian restaurant where you will find all the things you are looking for and a bit more.

The overall food and cocktails were decent and the servers seem very knowledgeable about the menu.

My only complaint was that service was noticeably slow. Not sure if they are understaffed or what but our meal took us 3-hours and not by choice.

Overall still a good experience though but probably not a place to consider if you have follow up plans after the meal.

Pop into Carlino for a drink and dessert Friday night. We were seated in the lounge. Ended up ordering the Smoke & Sand cocktail and the Tiramisu. Both were excellent. If you like mezcal I recommend The Smoke & Sand cocktail for sure. The tiramisu was a generous portion for what you pay...worth it!
I'll come here another time to try their pasta and other entrƩes.

Good service and tasty food. We all enjoyed our breakfast but the coffee wasn't very hot.

Came here for a group Christmas dinner. Overall the experience was good. Food was tasty, the waitress and workers were friendly, passionate, and knowledgeable, and the environment was nice. They were okay with us staying later than expected and happily accommodated us. Some things to comment though, would have been nice to have a Christmas tree that was not in the private room for everybody else to share and take pictures, and for a group of 10 people that all ordered the chefs ā€œfai tuā€ tasting menu as requested by the restaurant, the food portion was quite small and not enough. Essentially it was 1 bite of each dish and was also not very evenly proportioned with some items coming up with 8 pieces when there’s clearly 10 people.

Food was good, server is friendly, but oh boy the service was SLOW. It took a whole hour after we finished our starter that the main course was served. We were as starving by then. Also the server didn’t once come ask how the food was, which I thought should be pretty standard for such a high end restaurant. They seem extremely understaffed as well, it took forever before our order was taken, and then we see our server running around making cocktails as well, looks like he is the only server/bartender for the whole lounge area, which makes everything agonizingly slow. Our whole dinner took 2.5 hours, with the majority of it just waiting…

My husband took me here for my birthday dinner. Food and drink were delicious and service was great. Definitely a pricier dinner out, but it was nice for the occasion.

Vegetarian options: 30% of the menu is vegetarian/veg option, none of the "big" dishes were meat. We ordered both the veg pasta options which were nice.

[breakfast] It was a very frustrating takeout experience.
Firstly it took so long to have my meals ready, they also forgot to make my beverages and kept me waiting another 10 mins…
Secondly, the meal did not come with utensils and napkins, and they didn’t bother to check with me even by knowing I was staying in the hotel - just be thoughtful and helpful.
Food was okay, but I am like, it is hard to go wrong with oatmeal and yogurt bowl.
Lastly, my suggestion is room service may be a better option if you stay in the hotel.

I’ve been to a lot of restaurants and this experience was one I will never forget.

Great vibe, amazing service, and the best food.

My boyfriend and I did the tasting menu and got 6 courses for a very good price ($90) each, especially considering a plate goes for $40-$60 alone.

The squid ink pasta with lobster and the steak with house-made gnocchi were the stars of the show. Please try it.

The service was incredible, we never had to wait if we needed something and they picked up on everything immediately.

Most importantly, we were never rushed or felt like the courses came too fast. We had a night I will cherish forever and will continue to go back.

Had such a nice time here celebrating an anniversary. The staff were amazing, and the food and drinks were so good! Highly recommend their seasonal chai cocktail and the ravioli. Also loved the atmosphere of the place with the live music 😊

Was getting tired of bland restaurant-grade food at home. This is a place with high-end home-grade cooking at a restaurant. A true rarity and comes very close to the calibre of my home cooking.

2024-Dec-14: Server was unable to sell me effectively on any of the signature cocktails, so I kept $25 in my pocket. Was quizzed with two questions in the beginning to give us a very shallow starting point that came at it from the wrong direction. Gnocchi would have a more elevated texture and flavour if it utilized snails instead of or in addition to mushrooms.

The food was good for most, but not all. I liked the chicken and it was tasty, but the salmon was kind of bland with not much taste. Service was good.
