I am surprised how good the carnitas are. Really are the best in the city I think. They are really quite big compared to other mexican places. They also include all the sides. I would definitely come back just for these.

The worst customer service! I’ve ordered through Uber Eats several times and specifically asked for the habanero salsa and they forgot it not once, but three times! The last time, I wrote a note asking them please not to forget it. So this time they remembered the salsa… but didn’t include any tortillas.
I called to let them know and instead of taking responsibility they insisted they had “checked the order many times.” Obviously, they didn’t or they did a very poor job.
Then they told me to order something else so they could send the missing tortillas… as if I’d spend more money just to get what I already paid for!
It’s such a shame because the food is actually really good, but the constant mistakes make it not worth it.

I think is one if the best places in vancouver to order carnitas, we ordered 500 gr of mixed carnitas and it came with a good amoumt of corn tortillas, green salsa, lime and pico de gallo, everything was pretty tasty, is not my first time ordering here, the flavour and service is great and pretty solid.

This place caught my attention and upon seeing so many positive reviews I gave it a shot. Not a big fan of carnitas but I gave it a try regardless. I got the “4 tacos combo” for $20- and it came with a soda, a green sauce and some pico de gallo + some jalapeños.
The employee served the carnitas from a slow cooker and chopped it up with a knife- so the meat was very juicy and not dried out at all. I did see them steam the tortillas in a takeout container in a microwave but it honestly didn’t taste any different. The portions were generous and were full of meat. I’d recommend this place over taco time next door.

Wow - what a bite. They only have carnitas, but it is absolutely phenomenal! It reminded us of Los Tacos No.1 in NYC and authentic tacos from Central America. We got a four taco meal for $20 CAD (about $15 USD), and it was easily the cheapest and one of the best meals we had in Vancouver. It is located in the second floor food court in the International Village mall - a hidden gem. We would highly recommend and would definitely eat here again!
