I'm a big fan of doughnuts and I have never tried any like Cartems' ones: thick, kind of crispy, perfect balance of sugar, special flavours (I love how the use flowers). Be careful, they are SO expensive and very addictive. By the way, you better call them before going towards it if you are gonna arrive like 1 hour before they close, because once they finish all the doughnuts they make that day, the cose. And believe me that happens!!

I love that this place caters exclusively to those seeking gluten-free or vegan donuts that are still delicious and full of flavor. Not many places are this inclusive and thoughtful. I’m a big fan of Cartems—they really have a secret sauce when it comes to their donuts.
However, the space on Main feels quite bare, and it doesn’t have much of a vibe, so it’s not the kind of place where you’d necessarily want to stay and hang out. That’s why I’m giving it four stars. That said, the donuts are still a must-try and a staple in Vancouver's food scene and well worth it especially their glazed and citrus flavours.
Dietary restrictions: Great options for vegans and those who are gluten-free! Well done, Cartems, for being so inclusive!
In my humble opinion, best donuts in Vancouver. Always fresh, good selection of the classics as well as interesting combos. Staff are always friendly and they have decent coffee as well.

We stumbled across this donut shop accidentally and were impressed that they had GF vegan donuts. We tried the smoked maple which was good. Denser than the GF donuts we’ve had before but not in a bad way. The flavour was subtle and not really smoky. We would definitely stop again if we are in the area

The absolute best donuts in town, especially their stuffed donuts! Highly recommend any seasonal yeast stuffed donuts and the London fog!
Had some gluten free snack for my Mom. So I give both a 5 star.
The donuts here are great. $5 each. Fluffy, flavourful, not too sweet. Limited selection of flavours each day.
I had the Smokey walnut donut. It has a bacon-esque, mesquite flavour layer on top of the walnut. Surprisingly good!
