I’ve gotten cartems many times over the years and their classic Earl grey donut is my favourite - it is packed with earl grey flavour. Secondly I would recommend their London Fog or Vanilla Bean. The donuts are not overly sweet and have a great texture (either fluffy or dense depending on the type). They always have new monthly specials and the flavours are creative and unique sometimes (like black sesame or mango). This location particularly I visited recently and the staff are friendly and kind & they even give away samples to try and unsold remaining donuts to customers near the end of the day. Delicious donuts either way but also perfect for my vegan and GF friends / family.

I’ve been enjoying Cartems donuts since they were on Carrall and I’m aware that changes happen.. I’ve remained loyal .. but I’ve noticed with this location that the donuts are always stale af not a little like ALOTI’m not sure if they’re using day-old, which honestly they do taste like they old since I’ve had them before… charging full price is just truly lacking integrity and taking advantage of people when you know that the product isn’t up to standard.

Quite convinced their cake donuts are the best donuts in Vancouver, so many great flavours! Worth the extra few bucks per compared to somewhere like Tims. Friendly staff! I just wish some of the locations hadn’t closed, as it was great popping by the Pender shop when downtown, and the old kits location was so convenient for me. I still go out of my way to visit the Main st location because the donuts are that good!

When I worked downtown, I often grabbed doughnuts from Cartems. I particularly liked their take-out box, a long one with a vivid red color. They offer plenty of vegan doughnuts, which attracts many vegan customers to the shop. Personally, I adore their Earl Grey doughnut and their chocolate varieties. While Cartems' doughnuts were initially pricier compared to other shops, nowadays, other doughnut shops have similar pricing, making Cartems' prices fair in comparison.Vegetarian options: They offer a variety of vegan doughnuts. The vegan ones tend to be slightly smaller since they're not made with yeast???(not sure), resulting in a less soft texture. However, they still have great taste.

Great donuts but terrible service. Staff are rude, grumpy and stuck up. It’s like they doing you a favour by selling you the donuts. The attitude changes only at the end when they see a large tip!And Why do you have to tip for take out? Why don’t employers just pay well enough so the employees are not so hostile to patrons. Without patron you’d have no business.
