A welcoming team in an immersive surrounding. Loved the food, for all fans of Tunisian food (did not taste anything French). Ça vaut le détour!

I placed 5 stars because my last visit was just awesome, Nice people and perfect couscous! But I came today (june 23) got a confirmation by text of my reservation for lunch and when I arrive the restaurant was closed. Not sure what time the restaurant is open. i had to find else where to eat. So sad as I have been craving their couscous for so long!

Don’t be fooled by the mediocre reviews. It’s actually TERRIBLE.

Slowest service I’ve ever had. We were served stale salty? bread. The chicken tagline was a sad, watery stew. The shellfish wasn’t very fresh. The washrooms aren’t clean. We loved this restaurant pre- pandemic So disappointed.

I have no idea how this place got 3.9 stars! Terrible food. There were no other clients on a Friday night! A terrible restaurant with dry salty food.

The service was below average, and the food did not meet expectations. The mussels and chips were okay, but the couscous was extremely disappointing as it seemed to have been reheated in the oven.

The food is rotten, the meat is expired. The cakes have moulds on it, and all the food is not for human consumption. The owner of the restaurant, she is the one who allows this to continue. Worst. Food should be treated like food, not garbage.

It was sad for us as we remembered Carthage from pre-pandemic. The service was unprofessional and the food was mediocre. Their specialty are muscles and sadly we were disappointed with the quality.

The server was excellent. He communicated very well to us and was very professional and polite from the moment we opened the door and entered the restaurant. And a woman who we think was the owner also greeted us and was very lovely. This was a great first impression. Unfortunately for the server, we were the only customers for the one hour plus time we were there. We hope more guests arrived after we left. It was a bit unfortunate that the couscous we originally ordered was not available because they were out of halibut. It was also unfortunate that my first two wine choices were also not in stock. However, overall we had a good experience. The couscous was very tasty. The only thing is that we were expecting it the way we had it in Southern France and that is served in one bowl as a stew and then on the plate is the couscous. Here, it was served together on a plate - not really a stew. However, it was VERY tasty so really no complaint! Also, the third wine choice was very good, so no further complaint there. And I want to emphasize that even with these couple of glitches, we had a very nice experience and this is thanks to the comfortable ambiance and the wonderful communication and presentation of our server. We thank you for that :)

We were excited to have Tunisian food but were disappointed. Our waitress was lovely, but the food & (unlisted) beer prices mean we won't be going back. My lamb was overcooked & smothered in a sauce that was way too sweet, then served with fries. There wasn't any beer on the menu but when we asked the waitress said she had some bottles of Corona & 1664 in the fridge. When the bill came the beers were $12 each.
