Don’t be fooled by the mediocre reviews. It’s actually TERRIBLE.

Slowest service I’ve ever had. We were served stale salty? bread. The chicken tagline was a sad, watery stew. The shellfish wasn’t very fresh. The washrooms aren’t clean. We loved this restaurant pre- pandemic So disappointed.

I have no idea how this place got 3.9 stars! Terrible food. There were no other clients on a Friday night! A terrible restaurant with dry salty food.

The service was below average, and the food did not meet expectations. The mussels and chips were okay, but the couscous was extremely disappointing as it seemed to have been reheated in the oven.

The food is rotten, the meat is expired. The cakes have moulds on it, and all the food is not for human consumption. The owner of the restaurant, she is the one who allows this to continue. Worst. Food should be treated like food, not garbage.

It was sad for us as we remembered Carthage from pre-pandemic. The service was unprofessional and the food was mediocre. Their specialty are muscles and sadly we were disappointed with the quality.

The server was excellent. He communicated very well to us and was very professional and polite from the moment we opened the door and entered the restaurant. And a woman who we think was the owner also greeted us and was very lovely. This was a great first impression. Unfortunately for the server, we were the only customers for the one hour plus time we were there. We hope more guests arrived after we left. It was a bit unfortunate that the couscous we originally ordered was not available because they were out of halibut. It was also unfortunate that my first two wine choices were also not in stock. However, overall we had a good experience. The couscous was very tasty. The only thing is that we were expecting it the way we had it in Southern France and that is served in one bowl as a stew and then on the plate is the couscous. Here, it was served together on a plate - not really a stew. However, it was VERY tasty so really no complaint! Also, the third wine choice was very good, so no further complaint there. And I want to emphasize that even with these couple of glitches, we had a very nice experience and this is thanks to the comfortable ambiance and the wonderful communication and presentation of our server. We thank you for that :)

We were excited to have Tunisian food but were disappointed. Our waitress was lovely, but the food & (unlisted) beer prices mean we won't be going back. My lamb was overcooked & smothered in a sauce that was way too sweet, then served with fries. There wasn't any beer on the menu but when we asked the waitress said she had some bottles of Corona & 1664 in the fridge. When the bill came the beers were $12 each.

Great "hidden gem" spot! Amazing ambiance and staff, and will definitely return! One unfortunate element for my visit was that we went during Valentine's so it was a very busy night and that impacted the overall experience and food availability, but that's understandable.

We were disappointed that th We hadplanned to havetheere was a set menu that evening. We had planned to have the mussels. When we reserved and when we were confirmed, there was no mention ofthe set menu. The bellt dancer was fun, but it went on three times too long.

We seemed to have a new waiter (only one for the restaurant). He didn't know the menu and gave us a wine list that had 70% of the options crossed off. It took forever to get his attention after initially getting our water. We had to ask for the wine menu as he only gave us the food menu. When the food came out, he then told us the lamb was out of stock so the kitchen gave us chicken instead (a quarter of the price for chicken). The food tasted okay, but the food was warm only. The escargot dish was lukewarm only with lack of garlic. I can hear the kitchen person yelling the new waiter what to tell us. Really bad experience for a birthday dinner.

Be careful, these are racist people and above all who hate Arabs and insult their employees and mistreat them because of their origins and what's more, it's not even Tunisian!! There is neither the taste nor the Tunisian

We had dinner at this restaurant on Jan 23 for Dine Out Vancouver. We ordered 2 set dinner at total $110.00 without any drink but they charged us $24.20 tax. I realized they overcharged the tax after we paid by credit card. The tax should be only 5% GST at $5.50 and I talked to their waitress Mary right away. It is very strange that she did not check my bill again and said it is system problem. I want talk to their manager or owner but she said they were not here and only employee worked in the restaurant. I gave my phone number and emailed to her and Mary promised contact me next day. She did not call me back and I called her again on 26Jan and she said she was busy. She did not contact me then. I phoned to their restaurant again Jan 28 but Mary was not here and I talked to another lady for the whole story. She said Mary is the manager and promised to investigate and get back to me.Unfortunately nobody contact me until today. This restaurant is cheating to the customers. They overcharged $18.70 which is not a big amount but not honest at all. Their food is good but we never go back again.RachelParking: Need to spend 5 - 10 minutes to find parking during peak hours.
