I've ordered from this place over Uber eats before. I'm really sad to see it temporarily closed. Was craving the food today. Hope it's only temporary, I really enjoy every aspect of my order. Packed with care, great packaging and the food was incredible.

Suren Persian Cuisine in Kitsilano is a beautiful artisan restaurant with delicious traditional flavours and flare. We went in on a weekday evening and ordered the chicken kebab. The serving size is quite generous with a massive pile of rice, whole grilled tomato, pickled cabbage and a long chicken kebab. The kebab was juicy and tender. I just wish the rice was spiced a bit more for additional flavour.
We also got the Buy One Get One offer so the total came to $24 before tip for two people, which is an incredible deal!

Not only is the interior beautifully designed, like I was in a foreign country on a date with my long lost lover. But can we just take a moment to appreciate how astonishing this meal looks.... and tastes better than it even looks! They have amazing AND EXTREMELY AFFORDABLE SPECIALS from Monday to Thursday, which I highly recommend.

Really cute place! Came across it by accident. Service is wonderful. Ambiance is nice. Good place for gatherings, large space and looks like they have music some nights? They have the setup. We got served a cute little tasty complimentary soup. It surprisingly came out on a cute robot! Nice surprise! Food is good 😊 will definitely come back. Probably will try one of their salads! They looks good. Lots of options for vegetarians! Bring your eating pants, the portions are substantial!

We held our Nowruz Party for over seventy guests at Suren Restaurant (Vancouver branch), and everything was truly amazing. The management and staff were organized, attentive, and warmly welcoming. The food was high-quality and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was cozy and festive, and the DJ curated a fantastic selection of music with great mixing and thoughtful arrangements.
All our requests were handled promptly and efficiently. For an event of this size, the price was very reasonable and affordable. There were enough staff members across different areas to manage everything smoothly.
The night ended with beautiful memories of a joyful and unforgettable celebration. We’ll definitely be coming back—again and again!

A lovely surprise. A bit tucked away, it is easy to miss but it is a shame if you do. Food quality was great! My wife enjoyed the lamb shank, I had the Soltani Kabab (one skewer steak, one skewer koobideh). We both enjoyed our dishes and look forward to our next visit.
An absolutely delicious every time! The rice is my favorited I ever tasted. You will not be dissapointed.

Suren Persian Restaurant was a wonderful find on a rainy afternoon in Vancouver. The step-down entry reminded me of some of my favourite haunts in NYC. The outdoor patio is going to be spectacular in the summer. We were met with sublime music (which was subtle enough to converse with everyone) then escorted to banquette seating which made it even cozier. My test for Persian restaurants is their fasenjan and Suren's was perfection; dark, tart, and delicious. I recommend taking a few friends and ordering multiple dishes so that you experience the kitchen's talented cook. Our server was delightful; she really elevated our dining experience. She was warm, welcoming, and made sure to check with the kitchen when we had specific food requirements. It should be mentioned that Suren is also a good community neighbour. I first heard of them when they co-sponsored the Persian new year festival, Nowruz, recently in Vancouver. Thank you!
