Definitely recommended this for you Lamb shank lovers! ?Large portion (lot of rice) we shared 2 dishes chicken kebab and the lamb.Wasn’t impressed with the service, waited a while to get her attention both getting seated and while at the table. I mean a hi or acknowledgement would have been nice …the kitchen offered complimentary barley soup and boy those were flavourful ?The seat capacity are limited and parking space.

Deficient qualityGhormeh Sabzi has some bitterness—a small amount of meat and lots of water in the dish.Kabab was smaller than the photo, and Joojeh was uncooked.Prices are high compared to the quality of other Persian restaurants in NorthVancouver.

Delicious food and friendly service. Very kind and helpful when we asked about menu items and vegan options. They have a vegan kebab and rice dish that was very tasty.Vegetarian options: There is a vegan kebab and rice dish available with pickled vegetable sides.

Savor the artistry of Persian flavors, where tradition meets taste in every delightful bite. If you're looking for a dine in place, Celeshmet is your one stop place. I recently had the chance to had dinner. The atmosphere around it was so calm and nice. The customer service is really good. And hats off to the chef for the perfect and yummy treat. I really enjoyed my dinner and it was my first time trying persian foods and I fell in love with it. We tried their chicken kebab and lamb kebab. From starters to main course to desert, I enjoyed it. The rice pudding was so yummy. And the tea with saffron was so good.? You can check their menu online and check their social media page as well. It's not much expensive. You have to place a reservation before you go in. Anyway, if you wanna experience the Persian cuisine on your palate, i highly recommend Celeshmet. Thank me later guys ?

Walking into the restaurant, it had a welcoming atmosphere; I admire the greenery décor.I started with a complementary soup. It was yummy and tomato-flavored; I loved the texture and mild taste. I'm curious about the soup's name because I liked it but couldn't find it. I want to know the what the soup is (because I enjoyed it, but didn't catch its name). My main course was the Sultani (lamb + koobideh combo) Kebab with saffron rice. It was a lean, healthful lunch that was flavorful, aromatic, and light but satiating. In addition, the tzatziki sauce was excellent and tart, and it complemented the lamb kebab well. However, the koobideh tasted about as salted as a hamburg steak, so I was okay eating it without a lot of tzatziki.I originally had wanted to try their ice cream for dessert; however, it was sold out. So instead, I opted for the Shol-e-zard (rice pudding), because their component list has also caught my attention. I could definitely taste the spices, and it has a syrupy sweetness.Though, I took the leftover pudding home (its flavour profile goes so well with roasted chestnuts!).To conclude, it was a highly satisfying meal and dine-in experience. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious; the Persian cuisine has grown to be one of my top favourites already.Vegetarian options: Has a vegan kebab dish offered, along with select desserts.

Loved this authentic family run restaurant. We had never heard of Celeshmet and upon stumbling on it via a Google search for Persian restaurants, we decided to give it a try.The food simply reminded me of authentic family cooking, as if I was at my parent 's house. Nothing fancy or pretentious, just genuine home-style food.Going back here again. ?

We ordered a kashkebadenjan and awfully after half and hour they brought us a cold canned badenjan on the plate with kashk and other crispy onions but it was obvious that it wasn’t freshly made and it was from a canned food . Also the kebab was not bad but unfortunately haven’t had a good experience there at all.

Cutest restaurant. Husband and I wanna try different cuisines and been here for lunch !The place is so cute and small but enough to dine in for more than 30 people. We had barley soup , I thought it would taste okay , but it’s amazing - 5/5.We had Zeresh polow with chicken, being an Indian the name might sound weird, but it tastes amazing, the chicken is so tender n crispy, the fries are also crispy just as I like!! The rice isn’t spicy but got those Persian spices and authenticity ! 4.5/5We finished the meal with rice pudding and it’s 4.5/5 . A good dessert not too sweet and yummy!

The environment is warm and friendly. You can sit with peacefulness and relax. We tried different types of food, and we understood that the food was cold and the temperature of the rice was not very good, especially as a Persian person knowing what it should be like it wasn't that. Maybe 7 months later we might come back here again for cake, dessert and tea. Unfortunately, the butter was from the freezer, and it couldn't melt in the rice. As well as there was no onions on the side with the kabob. For us, we drive 46km. We felt pretty cold about what our results here. Thank you for a good night.
