Came here for the first time for dinner anticipating fantastic things considering it's been around for years and has a great reputation. I was wrong . Our server was cold and didn't seem like she knew what she was doing. The mussels were under seasoned, my pork was under seasoned, my husband's duck was also dry and under seasoned . The only thing that was good was the sour beer I had . I am so extremely disappointed with the money I spent here and a waste of a date night.

We were excited to visit the place and enjoy they anniversary dinner. Unfortunately, the place has overpromised and underdelivered. Food was good, but it was rushed out of the kitchen and some ingredients were forgotten . It felt like they couldn’t get rid of us soon enough. We order cocktails to start and it was served together with the wine for first course. No time was given to actually appreciate the food and the ambience. I specifically asked not to bring desert as we needed some time after the main course ,but my request was simply ignored. For a restaurant that claims to take pride in their legacy , I would expect much higher standards.

Anniversary menu was good for the portion but overall taste wasn't as great as expected. Ahi tuna salad wasn't as fresh as some other similar class restaurants. Pork chops were tender and the sauce was flavourful. Desserts were average. Service is great!

We had a lovely meal before an opera. Food was very good. Great variety of Happy Hour appetizers, and a great steak. The service was attentive, location and setting was great.

Was there last night for their 20th anniversary menu. Foods was great. Service was excellent. They had to take back our table for next reservation which was understandable. The manager invited us to move to the bar and treated us their signature “lavender latte”. I was very impressed that the staff were very thoughtful. That’s probably one of the reasons that this place is still very popular after 20 years of operations. My friend and I had a fantastic girls night. Would love to come back!

We went for Chambar restaurant's 20 years anniversary dinner menu.3 course $45 per personTh food were wonderful. Loved the desserts and salad. Smoked Ahi was a great but parsley was over powering. The waiter was the downside of the whole dining experience. I will go again but my friend said he won't.

We went to Chambar restaurant for dinner on 14 April 2024. The food was excellent, and staff were friendly. My son ordered a Belgian beer, Westmalle Dubbel; I noticed that the beer has a "Best Before Date" of January 2024--THE BEER HAS EXPIRED! Upon voicing my concern, she spoke with her manager--I had cast doubt on her response regarding the expiration. Nonetheless, our server did not ask if my son wanted another drink as a substitute.

Been coming here for the past decade.Their drinks are exceptional. Tonight we had their $45 3 course dining menu to celebrate their 20th anniversary. Again, did not disappoint.Grilled tuna - thick slice, smoky, over mint and parsley (super refreshing)Bouillabaisse with black rice - this dish is average, nothing to complain.Pork - exceptional. Juicy with cherry compote. Stoemp potatoes was well seasoned.Liège waffle - not crunch enough, but very tasty with the ice cream.

I’ve always liked Chambar and this experience doesn’t disappoint. It was the 20th year anniversary 3 course menu with 2004 price, which is such a great deal nowadays. I know this year has been difficult for many restaurants and those Michelin star restaurants probably took the spotlights, but to be honest, after going to several those restaurants and being disappointed over and over again, it makes me appreciate an OG restaurant like Chambar so much. Its service quality, attention to details, and taste of food really make it last. Thanks so much for a great meal and I hope to come back many more times in the years to come!

I tried Chambar years ago and while the service and cocktails were lovely and it's a beautiful space, I was quite disappointed by the food. My friend suggested we try their anniversary menu and so I gave it another chance. Again, fabulous service, ambiance, and good cocktails, but unfortunately, the food missed the mark. I WANT to like this establishment but honestly I think there are several other options in the city that are better, especially when visiting the city. The salad was underwhelming, and the bouillabaisse was cold and the lingcod mushy. The table next to us complained about the fish as well. We didn't bother our server but agreed it's best to try another place next time around.

I have always loved Chambar. I’ve decided to continue that tradition of appreciating great food by bringing my child. They treated her with absolute respect, didn’t ignore her and included her in the conversation.Food and drinks were amazing as always!
