They wanted to warm up a sandwhich and said it takes 10 mins, I didnt have time so said no thanks, plus every crandberry turkey sandwhich ive had comes cold. They said I have to have it warmed up.. dude it's a sandwhich.. it can be eaten either way. Lost a customer before i could even try anything.Edit for owners reply: so can I get a crandberry turkey sandwhich without it being warmed up?

Cute location! The young gentleman that works there is attentive and friendly. Excellent for front of house! The bao was pretty good, and while I did enjoy my coffee it was hard to believe it was $8!!!! Overall enjoyed it!

Sometimes I'll be walking by, and I have to stop to get a drink because my dog loves their pup cups. The drinks and food are amazing, and the staff is always so good.

I have gotten Too Good to Go multiple times from Chance Cafe and each experience has been excellent. Pearls are made fresh daily and you can really tell. The drinks are sweet but not overpowering and there is a wide variety available. They've also recently renovated and really opened up the space for dine-in. I'm excited to come back and try the food!Dietary restrictions: One drink was made with silk instead of lactose milkKid-friendliness: Drinks were made caffeine-free, and not overly sweet.

Chance is a great cafe, one of my favourite in the East Van/Mount Pleasant area. They have an amazing selection of drinks, including boba, smoothies, milkshakes, and coffees/lattes. The bobas are worth noting because they also carry make-at-home boba kits and beautiful reusable boba cups. Their food is good; the curry is gluten free (I'm celiac so my options are limited) and really tasty. Seating is limited post lockdown, but their food makes for excellent takeaway too.Vegetarian options: Limited, as with the GF options, but what they have is good.Dietary restrictions: They have options for vegetarian, vegan, and dairy free GF options for food more limited, but there's still some, including individually wrapped funfetti cookies if you want a sweet treat.Kid-friendliness: Lots of kid-friendly goodies.Wheelchair accessibility: no stairs, lots of wide space, doorway is a bit narrow but manageable.

Have been here multiple times and the service, food and drinks have been next level. The owner is truly remarkable! I wanted a custom secret Santa gift and they were able to help me find something that was within my price budget and look very nice too. Thank you for everything!

Bao's are tasty but not the same as mins homemade of course! No one's is, decent alternative. I got morning coffee and afternoon coffee here. Morning coffee was 8/10 afternoon coffee was 5/10. The reason afternoon coffee scored low was because it was cold. I recommend this spot for tasty eats and good drinks at affordable price.

Delicious! We had BBQ Bao, grilled cheese and bubble tea with popping boba. Such a cute spot with a chill vibe. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating. Great place to slow down a bit and enjoy.Kid-friendliness: So great with our toddler. They even made him his own little bubble tea so he didn't have to share with me ♥️

Been coming here frequently for the past year. The baos are $3.50 and I think that's a very reasonable price. They're always fresh and hot and super fluffy. I only wish they have more variety for the buns as everytime I come (around 9:30am) they only offer BBQ pork or chicken & shrimp at that time. I wish they have the pork and veggie bun in the morning. The other items are a bit on the pricier side but you can feel that they use good ingredients. I really like their blue horizon smoothie, the turkey sandwich, and their grilled cheese sandwich. Usually I get one drink and one sandwich and I pay around $18 after tax and tips.As for coffee they're a slight bit more expensive than a certain franchise. But if you think about it, the franchises are such a big companies they have way more wiggle room for prices yet they STILL charge a lot for a cup of coffee and people are still willing to pay, whereas little cafes around the city that offer quality items are trying to survive and people complain about their prices? Many other cafes charge extra for dairy alternatives as they DO cost more, so I don't see anything wrong with that. Let's support local businesses!I haven't had any problems with services, they've always been courteous. Even when it gets busy and there's only one staff, they're still very nice. I also love the atmosphere and the overall vibe of the hood and the customers. I really hope this place will stay for many years.

Hard to find a drink that didn't include sugar. Even the matcha powder was pre sweetened. So were the milk alternatives. They also charged extra for milk alternatives. No vegan food
