My first time dining here was before covid (2014), and I recall always returning for A3, and would always order thin noodle. So I was a daily guest from 2014-2015. This year, I finally got the time to return, and in conclusion, good as usual, the only difference? Less people, different staffs, there used to be zhacai (Chinese pickled vegetables) for A1,A2,A4. Slightly smaller portion.

This place definitely does not deserve such a low rating (atleast at the time I'm writing this) and I had a amazing experience here. The food was amazing, the service was great, and the wait time was super low for a pretty big order. Their meat portions were very big and EXTREMELY tender. The noodles themselves are also super tender and chewy and the different broths were all REALLY good and flavorful but not over powering/salted. I also ordered a few different drinks including their house special milk/bubble tea and they were all very good.
Overall I would DEFINITELY go back here again.

I’ve been there twice, and both times the beef brisket had a strong gamey smell. The service wasn’t good either.

I love this place. I used to come very often, i came today after a year, the taste is still the same. Portion is same, soup is same, I am not sure why it got bad reviews but I do recommend this place. Came with multiple people, they loved too. A2 on menu is the best imo☺️

Came here a few years ago and decided to come back to try it again as my initial experience was positive. However, upon revisiting this restaurant I was thoroughly disappointed. To start, the restaurant was empty yet none of the tables had been properly wiped down. Next, the food was impossibly bland. The soup had little to no flavour, and felt like I was eating noodles suspended in hot water with a side of meat and vegetables. I couldn’t even finish half the bowl as it was painfully flavourless. However, that was probably the least offensive part of my dining experience. Upon requesting the bill, I was offered the debit machine and opted to skip the tipping option as the food and service was beyond mediocre. However, the server grabbed the machine from my hands and cancelled the transaction saying, “You didn’t tip.” and then told me to select one of the tipping options listed (12, 15, 20). I was so appalled by this, which led me to put 5% but I should’ve stuck with the no tip as I had initially planned. She scoffed at me and then when I got up to leave and say thanks, she ignored me and walked away. I have never had such a negative dining experience in my entire life. Terrible service, food, and ridiculously rude workers. I would NOT recommend coming here for any reason.

Decided to try it out since there were so many reviews based more on service than food. I got the noodle special. Service was fine and food came out fast. The broth was delicious and there was a lot of meat to fill the stomach. Walked to the front to pay and the lady did not choose my tip. Looks like they’ve learned and worth giving a shot again. I would suggest trying it yourself and deciding. Cheers

The old man is really nice. The food is decent. However my friend says the woman was not respecting her and had immense attitude and was profoundly rude. If you see the old lady in store, I suggest to change a place for your meal immediately. If the old man is there, he is fairly nice and will treat you with natural human rights.

I feel like some of the reviews are judging this place too harshly. It’s a small chain that is run primarily by Chinese immigrants. Come here if you want a big bowl of beef noodles. The food tastes great and the quantity is a good deal for the price around here, and choose the spicy option if you can handle buldak level heat; the two bucks is worth it. And one tip, you can ask them for water if the hot tea dose not quench your thirst.

Big disappointment. They used to serve generous portions years ago. Now it’s not worth it at all! Half my meet was fat. Now wonder the reviews are low now.

All good not until we pay, the server wants me to add for percentage of tip of her choice. You shouldn't force somebody to pay an amount that you think is good for you! Be thankful that people gives!

The food was great, but the server explicitly asked for a set tip percentage and watched the entire payment process.
