One of things I do look at food spots is how clean they are with their environments (from what I can see), how inviting the staff or as you enter the restaurant to how attentive the staff is to customers and to what they are cooking and preparing.
I have been to Chef Hyve many times, and I sometimes I will forget how big their wraps are. We ate in the restaurant, and Chef Hyve had just handed my wrap to me, and I didn't realize the top of my wrap was open. I, being clumsy, drop a few pieces of chicken on the floor...the Chef saw this, and I was not expecting this… but he handed me a dish with more chicken. I didn't ask for it and I tried to decline (because it was my fault, not his) but he insisted on this.
Many places would NOT have done that, and to have a small business like Chef Hyve doing this small token made a favourable impression on me as well as my partner.
With regards to the food, expect the wraps to be filling. The crunchy garlic chicken wrap is one of our favorites to the pita chips and fish and chips.
Today, we are ordering a smack of food including the chicken wrap, double burgers, chicken sandwiches, the crunch, and more and I know we can expect high quality food when it's time to eat..

Is an amazing place to eat, prices are ok for the quality of the food, is like fast food dishes but home-made!! Lots of variety, Is totally amazing, delicious and good portions, I have been going 6 times by now, my favorite place to eat outside or take-out, good burgers, the best fish and chips, and the best chilli cheese fries, the best, I already get 3 of them always good, the fries are ¡¡home-made!! And they are really well done, not soggy at all and good seasoning on them, is really good food, I found them asking Chatgpt for the best fish and chips in Metro Vancouver and it was not wrong!, is the best! I try others in New West with good reviews but no one like this one, because I love fish and chips and I know what am talking about :)

I was very pleased with the place, the interior and the overall cleanliness. The folks that work there were very friendly to us. We ordered the fish bites and the fish burger. It was actually pretty good and the fries were very delicious! I noticed in the back the fries seem to be cut fresh so that’s a big plus. The garlic aioli was delicious with the fish and went well with the fries!
Overall we were very happy with what we got and the price for the food was fair. I would come back for a second try and order the falafel or chicken wraps they offer😇

They offer a unique taste on various familiar items, like burgers wraps and fish, with a mediterranean twist. And their ground beef is excellent. In a city where there's a donair place on every corner, it's certainly refreshing to find a place that specializes in ground beef. It is located right next to the Beefway market, and is extremely easy to miss because it is literally a tiny hole in the wall.
I've been ordering for years but only recently discovered their amazing Chili Cheese Fries... now I've been to a couple of Irish pubs and this is basically garlic cheese chips... with beef! It even comes with a tub of extra garlic sauce. Lads, this is it!

The number of menu options felt intimidating initially but everything we ordered tasted amazing--there's something on the menu for everyone. Ingredients were fresh and portions were generous.
