This was not my first time at Chewies but it will be the fondest in my memory.
Not only were the cocktails and food delicious but the service was impeccable.
In particular, Jarett provided incredible service and laughs throughout our meal.
10/10, a must visit for locals and visitors alike!
Great staff and atmosphere they still have a wonderful buck a shuck (1.50) and amazing other foods!
nice, but washroom is only one and mens and womens have to share the one washroom. The chairs are too high. The two things are negative side.

Great atmosphere and service! I ordered the pan seared salmon and it was delicious. I highly recommend it.
Came here for my “cursed” theme belated birthday dinner on Friday the 13th and little did I know how much the restaurant would play into the theme.
The service was good, the atmosphere is fine, and the oysters that I had sooo many of (regrets) were also delicious. Everything was fine until Sunday morning when the food poisoning hit. Myself and two other guests that had oysters (luckily they didn’t have as many as I did) have gotten sick, with me getting the worst of it.
My birthday curse lives on! Thank you Chewies. 😩😩
Very fresh and tasty oysters on the half shell.
Went here with my wife for a night out, atmosphere is awesome, there cocktail menu is great, staff was amazing looked like there were only two people working so it took a little to get refills but when they came they didn’t disappoint. We had pork belly and coleslaw to start (I hate coleslaw but it was awesome) only disappointment was I had the jambalaya and it was really really salty but you get a good amount and the ingredients inside top self (big chicken chunks, nice prawns lots of andouille sausage) inside just was really salty I’ll take that as a mistake. I would definitely go back with my family or friends for dinner and drinks
The rudest waiters on earth! No attitude. We were 8 people on a table and only one of us didn’t tip because of the poor service. The waiter came and rudely asked for a tip!
The appalling behavior of the restaurant staff left us feeling humiliated and unwelcome. Despite our group being paying customers, when one of us expressed dissatisfaction with their meal and chose not to tip, the waiter aggressively confronted her. A second staff member then joined in, shouting at us and dismissively insisting our satisfaction was irrelevant. It was a deeply unpleasant and disrespectful experience that we will not soon forget.
The disappointment I felt was unbearable. The waiter returned with my receipt and had a very bad attitude about why I hadn't left a tip, saying, "I'm paying for your meal when you didn't tip". I asked for his supervisor. It was far worse than that. They were treating me like I had committed a crime. The fact that tipping is optional wasn't clear to them. An awful experience. YOU RUINED MY NIGHT.

Have been coming here for years and really disappointed they got rid of there sauce selections for oysters. Just another restaurant now you can go anywhere for happy hour. Always would come back for that specific reason but too bad. It’s gone.
Had a chance to celebrate my Birthday here with my best friends. Nice atmosphere, good service, and great food! I love muscle clam in the pot the most💗
Pulled up for happy hour oysters. Great value and delicious.
Food was good and the portions were on the generous side. I especially enjoyed the humbolt squid.
