This wonderful restaurant made me excited to eat again! I have only been eating to refuel for years now and I gorged like a starving animal. I love CHEZ CÉLINE and I can’t wait to go back

Absolutely SUBLIME. We had the escargot, radishes, beets, halibut, pork chop and Guinness soft serve to finish and it was all incredible. Really beautiful presentation. Service was excellent and the drinks were to die for. I’m so used to non alcoholic cocktails being sub standard but was blown away here. Really can’t recommend enough.

We have a wonderful dinner experinece at Chez Celine and it lived up to it's hype. The service was excellent our lady server who was a native from Yukon was friendly, very knowledgeable about the menu as well as the wine list. The food was excelllent credits to the chef and the kitchen staff. For the appeitzers we had the baked oysters florentine and even tho it's baked the oysters tasted so fresh we off to a good start. Their menu is a bit limited so for the menu we ordered the cavatelli, the pappardelle and the Arctic char. I must say the Arctic Char is the best one I ever had. It's cooked to perfection which is no small feat by any means. Their wine list is also a bit limited with reds mostly pinot noir and it's pricy. The place is pretty loud with the music but our server did mentioned they can control the sound volume by sector. Lastly you must make reservations, our reservations was at 7:15 pm but we waited till almost 7:30 pm to get to our table and there was still over 10 people with reservations waiting behind us.

Good things; most of the food, the service once we were seated.
Bad things; had to wait 20 minutes after our reservation time for a table without an apology, some of that time was outside in the cold. Tables are packed in making it really noisy inside. Seems like they’re trying to get as many people in as possible each night so are overbooking and have too many seats. Pork was $60 worth of fat.

We came to Chez CÉLINE for dinner on November 6 and decided to order takeout instead. While we were there, we ordered quite a few items, but when we got home we realized our fish was missing from the order.a
We tried calling the restaurant multiple times after we got home, but no one picked up the phone. Because of that, I can’t say great things about the customer service, even though our server at the restaurant was very nice.
That was a $55 dish and they didn't even try to reimburse us
We ordered enough dishes for us to realize the food here is mediocre at best,,really puzzled by the hype.

Didn’t have reservation and decided to go last minute to try my chance . The host offered a 9:30 kindly and we took it .
The drinks were nice and food was fantastic . The vibe is so warm and welcoming . The food is not as great as the sister company St Andrew’s but still one of the best food . Hard to find parking and I highly suggest to make a reservation.
The T bone was a big price but delicious .

Beautiful restaurant that looks super cosy from outside. Unfortunately it is CRAZY LOUD in there, even louder than a lot of similar restaurants. It was really hard to catch up with anything more than one person. And there were numerous celebrations for which they’d turn up the music really loud. Food was also not great. Ordered whipped potatoes with cheese, tartare, beet salad, flatbread, cavatelli. Nice presentation and it was good, but nothing memorable at all, and very overpriced for what it was. If I were to get anything again it would be the cavatelli.

Delicious food, great service, lovely wine. It's just very loud in there so I couldn't really have a conversation with my friend. Maybe it's better for larger groups, rather than for two or three people. Was a little shocked when the bill came though, haha. Definitely not affordable enough for regular visits.

Really nice little brasserie with simple, tasty French food and a relaxed atmosphere.
The service was friendly and easygoing.
Prices are a little on the higher side, but totally fair for the quality.
A cozy, down to earth spot where you eat well and have a great time!

Lovely casual spot by the fine team at St Lawrence.
Beside the regular menu, don’t forget to ask for the late night burger and a fresh pint of the black gold.

You can’t catch a break in the F&B industry eh?
All the reviews I read said the food was bland and not salty enough so I went in with a bit of trepidation because I tend to like my food saltier than most. Well the good thing is the people at Chez Celine has seemingly read the comments and adjusted to it … maybe a bit too well.
But I’m getting ahead of myself. We ordered the en gueve (sp?) and that was a great drink to get the appetite going.
Starters we had the terrine and escargot. The terrine was firm and flavorful. It went really well with the mustard. The bread was really nice.
The escargot was bedded into the bread like a mini pizza. The snails and the sauce was good as was the bread but there were chunks of the bread that had bit of salt chunks on it making it a bit too salty. Eaten as a whole it was fine but if you bit off just the bread you might get a salty section.
We also got the beet salad with walnuts and Brie. Can’t go wrong with that combo. Very nice.
For mains we got the halibut and cavetti pasta. I think they seasoned the halibut for too long cause every bite was salty throughout and through. Drenching it in the sauce and the half grape made it better. Still ok for me but like I said I like salty.
The cavetti was good. The mushroom sauce was very nice.
Service was great. Very attentive.
Our wine, a bc Chardonnay was perfect.

The restaurant is small, noisy and over priced. A martini is $25 and we had 3 share plates of mediocre food. Lots of friendly, attentive wait staff and good wine selection.
