The best chicken I’ve ever had! I really wish they would open a location in Calgary. I’ve tried most of the fried chicken places in Calgary, but Chicken Box easily beats them all. The tteokbokki was a hidden gem — it made me lick the plate, literally!

I wanted to leave a review for this amazing chicken place! The Korean style fried chicken was absolutely delicious — the seasoning was spot on and the batter was perfectly crispy. The tteokbokki tasted like it was made with their own special house sauce, perfectly balanced with just the right amount of spice and flavor. I even ordered it to-go at the airport before my flight because I couldn’t resist having it one more time! I tried it while traveling, and I honestly wish they would open a location in Toronto — it would be such a hit there. Highly recommend!

Had a great experience here! I was able to try three different chicken flavors at once with the Tasty Tasting Dish, and the new Chicken Cloud menu was something you can’t really find anywhere else. The variety made the meal feel extra special.
They’re open late, which is perfect for stopping by after work. The portions were generous and it was a very satisfying dinner. The service was great as well — the staff was friendly and attentive.
Really enjoyed both the food and the atmosphere. I would like to go back next time for try some chi-bap (chicken with rice)!

Great place to grab Korean Fried Chicken.
I came here as I saw a review on Instagram the day before. They had an AYCE Korean Fried Chicken event going on and KFC being one of my most favorite Korean dishes, I had to go check it out.
It was a bit packed when I came here after work around 2:45/3pm. I waited about 25 minutes to get a table. It does seem a bit cramped in there, but overall not too bad.
The food came moderately quick despite the restaurant being quite busy (every table was taken). The server/owner? is quite attentive too. Despite how busy it was, he always was ready to take your order.
The chicken was packed with flavour, juicy, and nicely coated. My top 3 would be the Coco lime, Sweet & Spicy, and the Cheese Sprinkle. Each round you can choose 3 flavours, and you get 3 pieces each. You get to choose one side dish for your AYCE meal too. I ordered the waffles (croffles) as my side dish, it was nice, fluffy, and crispy. Not bad for my first experience with croffles.
I'm not sure how often they run the AYCE event or if this is the first one, but it ran roughly for a week? Definitely worth coming here if your hankering for some KFC
Overall, worthwhile experience. I am fully packed with 36 pieces of KFC and croffles in me 😅

Fried chicken was perfectly cooked, had AYCE so I got to try 5 different flavors and loved all of them. The owner is super nice, service was top notch. Highly recommend!
God tier AYCE deal until March weekdays noon to 4pm. Up to 5 rounds of authentic Korean fried chicken with 1 complementary side. Must try the soy garlic and chicken cloud! The owner is super friendly as well!

We ate at The Chicken Box on Friday. Having lived in the area for years, I’ve walked past it many times but finally decided to give it a try. We both ordered the Basic Chi Bop, and it was fantastic — quick service, great presentation, and absolutely delicious! We can’t wait to go back. There’s a more famous chicken place just a few doors down, but trust me — skip that one and head to The Chicken Box instead!
