Chickpea is probably my favourite spot for brunch in the city! Some of my favourite dishes are the latkes benechick and the shakshuka. The portions are huge!
Tried out this location for the first time. I was a little disappointed. First off, I ordered a Gin and Tonic and what I got was some horrible cocktail that tasted like soap, and when I told our server, she said “you ordered gin”. I explained I wanted a gin AND tonic and she didn’t seem to understand what I was asking for. After pointing at the gin bottle behind the bar and asking for that to be paired with tonic water. I then received a second gin cocktail that was not a gin and tonic. I gave up and stuck with what was given to me then. Then when my meal came, the chickpea fries were way over cooked and most of them were melted into each other. And after the whole debacle with my drink, I did not feel confident that the staff could fix this too. If you enjoy vegan based restaurants, I suggest skipping this location.

I had their shawarma and it was tasty and flavourful. I was surprised how large and filling it was. Service was attentive. The place was packed, nice vibe.
I had a wonderful experience at Chickpea Restaurant. The drinks were excellent and the food was incredibly delicious. I honestly had one of the best falafels I’ve ever tried — perfectly crispy on the outside and flavorful on the inside. The hummus was also very fresh, smooth, and absolutely delicious. Everything tasted well-prepared and full of flavor. If you enjoy Middle Eastern food, I highly recommend giving Chickpea Restaurant a try. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The food here is great! The lions mane mushroom is amazing, it tastes like a steak, as are the latkes, falafel, limonada, and pretty much anything I've had here. I love the ambiance. Only room for improvement is I always find it hard to have someone come by for us to pay, we usually get up to flag someone down. Also I loved the sauce bar they used to have. All in all I love this place and recommend it to friends and family.

Incredible all-vegan dining experience.
I’m usually the devout meat-eating barbarian. This place had me smiling with how good it all was… from the lovely hummus (lots!) to the fragrant salad to unique mains… so much vibrancy in flavor, color, aromas… I left no crumbs.
Definitely recommend this spot for vegans and non-vegans alike. While it is very pricy, it was well worth it for the occasional night out (and the portions were huge!). Thanks Chickpea!

My go to restaurant always!!! Great service and the food. I wish they always succeed like this and don't get close like other restaurants. 🎉🎉🎉 My family loved it too

For being vegan it’s very good! We got the falafel wrap and a bunch of tapas: hummus, pickled veggies, labnah, baba ghanoush and the chickpea fries. Everything was very good, the chickpeas were the only thing I wouldn’t go back for. All the sauce was at the bottom of the bowl, so it was hard to dip and then some were perfectly crunchy and others were a soft. Service was great and super speedy!

When The Wallflower in Main St. closed, it left a big gap in vegan breakfast options in one of my favorite neighborhoods in Vancouver. But Chickpea really slides into my go-to spot for vegan comfort food. The menu is a bit overwhelming with all the mouthwatering options. Go for the chick'n upgrade on the the Waffles Benechick. The carrot lox is on point. You fill leave stuffed and Happy.

The food here is delicious and I’ve only ever had take out! The platters come with an extremely generous portion of hummus and everything has so much flavour. Recently had the Cauliflower of Life wrap and it was so tasty. Will be ordering from here regularly!
