Really yummy place with so many great options on the menu! The chickpea fries were a cool concept—fun to try but not our favorite. The spicy carrots, though, were amazing, and we loved the overall variety and freshness of everything. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Vancouver!

The food was great, but the first thing that happened was that I wanted to cut my "egg" in the middle and the "yolk" squirted all over me and the table. Maybe I should have guessed this could happen but it made me kinda grumpy for the rest of the meal. But you know what, this place seems like it caters to vegans and understands that vegans don't just want brown foods and meat substitutes, they want veggies!

I want to love this place as it is so close to my house. But every visit has been just ok. Everything is fine but I just want it to taste a bit better. The hummus just ok, which is not good enough at a place called Chickpea.

The food was outstanding as always — fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. We ordered the Falafel Platter and Spicy Halloumi Burger, both of which were absolutely delicious. Service was friendly and attentive, but we were asked to pay before our table was cleared and while one was still finishing our meal — a bit odd since there was no lineup or rush. That said, Chickpea remains one of our favourite spots on Main, and we'll definitely be back!

Celebrated my 34th birthday at Chickpea and it was perfect! 💛 The staff were super friendly and clear, the playlist was on point, and the drinks were amazing (special shout-out to the hot chocolate my bestie loved!). 🍫 The food portions were huge and every bite was packed with flavor—delicious, tasty, and beyond expectations. We couldn't even finish our plates! And the dessert? The carrot cake with coconut mousse and pecan maple ice cream was simply unforgettable. 🥕✨ Already excited to come back!

I always enjoy my meals at Chickpea. There's so many complimentary flavours packed into each dish. I had the Steak rice bowl from the Chickpea vegan Truck festival at Locarno Beach a while ago and it was incredibly delicious . I ordered the same meal at the Chickpea Restaurant and thought it would be like the Truck and although it was good and plentiful, the “steak” wasn't the same.

Delicious. So impressed with the quality, taste, portion size, everything. I had the oyster mushroom rice plate, and my friend had the lions mane 'steak' platter. The chickpea fries are amazing.

This place has some of the best food in Vancouver. It's all chickpea based, but they do it soooo well We had members of our party that don't eat onion or garlic and these guys were able to make us soo much without it. The allergens book lists what they could and couldn't eat, so it made it really easy to order The food was amazing, so flavourful, extremely well done and the hummus, to die for. Everything we had we loved and the portion sizes are massive!! We had to take away atleast 50% as they gave us such big portions The only thing that let this place down was the speed of service but we did go on a Saturday night, so it was busy and we were seated and eating within 45 mins. It wasn't big enough of an issue to remove a star but be warned if you're starving and are expecting quick food on a weekend or busy period. Overall, highly highly recommended for anyone looking for great food and good vibes

Excellent healthy vegan food (but that's not to say you can find some comfort food items too) I particularly love the veggie chicken schnitzels. Excellent for meat eating friends who are nice enough to accompany you to a vegan restaurant. Service and ambiance was top notch. Especially if you have a party of 6 or more and can get the pillow window seat area.

A quirky and cosy restaurant with super friendly service. We had the french toast, blueberry oat pancakes and the schnitzel waffle benechick with a vegan poached egg. This was genuinely one of the best brunches we’ve had! The french toast was itself delicious and crispy and came with even more delicious caramelised banana and fresh strawberries! The blueberry pancakes were a perfect texture and tasty (especially with the blueberries and banana inside), and the accompanying whipped coconut cream was a lovely light addition. The schnitzel benechick was very special, with each element delicious by itself but even more so together - the tofu schnitzel was beautifully crunchy and had a brilliant texture inside, the waffle was thick and it was my first vegan poached egg!

The brunch was incredible (and served all day!). We loved the vegan eggs and the shakshuka. The milkshake was to die for.

Our server Jordana was super friendly and gave us tips for the area (since we’re visiting as tourists)

Highly recommend everyone (vegan or not) eat here!

Stopped here at random. Staff were lovely, food portions were massive, and they took my nut allergy seriously. Great place
