Ban Bu Xian Szechuan Cuisine 半步仙小酒館(本那比)

My friend Booked reservations here and told me how much her and her bf loved eating here. It was my first Sichuan food
Experience and I loved it.

Because we had a party of 4 so we had to walk in and I came in at around 5.

The place is full of traditional Chinese decor and it’s spacious and open.

The staff immediately greeted me and offer
Me tea while we ate.

The menus is a scan and we ordered a few dishes.

My favorite was the spicy beef and the favorite was the sweet and sour pork.

We had the deep friend tong yuan with black sesame filling for dessert.

They also have free parking and I think for the portion, I think it’s reasonable.

It is spicy so to people who can’t eat too spicy, I would make sure u request less spicy and get a cold beverage!

One of the places in Metro Vancouver where Peking duck is available. You have to order one hour ahead of arrival for the signature Roasted peking duck. They bring it with a cart and slice the meat for you. For the rest of the duck including bones, you can ask them to make soup for extra $13 charge. Szechuan Tong Cai is tasty but fried rice is typical. Spicy chicken is a must if you can tolerate the numbness of szechuan pepper corns. The service is excellent and the restaurant is pretty spacious.

I have been here many times, and every time the food never failed to impress. The spicy dishes had the perfect balance of spice and flavour, and you can taste the skill in every dish. The service was quick and caring, and the employees were very kind. The price was also within range. This restaurant is highly recommended.

My fav restaurant in Van. For people who love spicy food, this restaurant is definitely worth trying. Food is amazing and their service, too. Definitely will come back again.

Second time we’ve been here! My current favourite dish hands down is the spicy pork liver. Today we also tried the sichuan boiling fish(had huge portions😅, couldn’t finish), would recommend this. Will come back again👌🏻
