First time in Vancouver and first time at Chinatown BBQ. We had the pork belly, char siu pork, duck, jellyfish, pork and veg fried rice, curry beef, and brocolli rabe. I am a Chef and my in-laws are Korean. We don't just know good food we know great food, this food was exceptional! We have had Chinese food in Chicago Chinatown where we live, NYC and Korea. Chinatown BBQ is a must-try for classic Chinese flavors. This is one of our go-to places! We had BBQ pork, roasted duck, and crispy pork belly in one platter. (Big shoutout to Bobby for such great recommendations!) Portions are generous, prices fair, and service quick. A simple spot that delivers comfort and authenticity every time.
Whether you are traveling through Vancouver or live there full time you simply must stop at Chinatown BBQ. The food is excellent, the staff is helpful and friendly and the atmosphere is light and full of history.
