what I will give chit chat credit for, is that their prices are good. I got a good sized burger and good sized fries for about 21 bucks. The burger was great, the atmosphere was cozy which was really nice, and exactly what I needed. I don't know what was off but it was off. it was a slow Monday at 6. but overall it was nice, easily the best part of it was the fact that the food was decently priced for what you got.

Was here on a Friday night and the craziest thing happened. First of all, the bar was pretty empty, which is shocking for a Friday night. The reason why I came in here was because I was waiting for a table at the warehouse. As I was having a drink, one of the restaurant worker, likely the own or a manager, shorter, baldish guy, with an accent, was very rude and assaulted a customer walking out the door. He headlocked the customer. I was just sitting by the window not too far from this happening and I couldn’t finish my drink. The police came and told the guy that he assaulted someone and told him he cannot do that. At the end of it, everyone was let go and the police left. Funny fact, I met a girl at another bar and as I was telling her what happened that night, she said she is barred from this bar too because she asked for a tequila shot, they gave her a vodka shot, she complained and a bald little guy came out and kicked her out of the bar. I love the design of this place but now I know why it’s always empty in here. Looks like if you voice your opinion in here, the will either kick you out or assault you lol.

Nice atmosphere, cheap shots, but it’s empty inside on a Friday night - it’s empty because the service is can be better, the server sees a large group and turns away when we wanted to order shots. After 5 minutes we wave at him and he comes back, first question he asks is “separate bill or all together”. If service improves this place would be great. Was going to order food but decided not to after such poor service.

We came in for a late-night bite. After being seated and not served for quite a while we were then told the kitchen was closed. We understood it was late so decided to just order a drink before leaving as we were already seated. The server was unknowledgeable about the beers on tap and after going to ask others they were still unable to figure it out. Fairly disappointing for a place that considers itself to be a bar but does not educate its staff on its tap list.

Chit Chat Burger Bar is a casual dining spot located on 955 Granville Street in the heart of Downtown Vancouver. Founded by Aldo Velaj, who started his culinary journey at a young age, the restaurant focuses on serving fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
The menu features a variety of gourmet burgers, including the popular “Chit Chat" with a juicy 5oz patty, and the "Viva La Granville" with avocado and jalapeño. They also offer hand-cut crispy fries, salads, and milkshakes. The drink selection includes draft beers, wines, and specialty cocktails.
The atmosphere is clean and modern, with a lounge setting with several tables. It's very nice that the kitchen is open plan. While the food is tasty and the service very friendly, some might find the menu options a bit limited.
I had their “Bacon & Cheese”, a very tasty and “rich” bacon cheeseburger, accompanied by their regular fries, equally good.
Overall, Chit Chat Burger Bar offers a good burger experience in a relaxed environment, with a very kind and professional staff.

Good price for the burgers even though they don’t come with fries. I tried their Truffle Burger and there was only a hint of truffle, but still tasty! Also enjoyed the interior decor. #

While the food is delicious, the serving sizes are quite small, which makes the overall prices feel a bit steep.
