I had THE BEST fries at this location! They were really delicious, soft and tasty. The service was also good even when there were like 30 people there.

They served a shrimp soup instead of a shrimp ceviche, it was full of broth.

Good juicy 'bacon & cheese' burger. Fries had too much salt, but otherwise tasty with herbs. Price was market price or a bit lower. Fun nice interior - my kid and I loved the trees!

I've been here a few times and I really want to like this place. It's a nice oasis on the Granville strip - great drink specials in a nice room.Sadly, the service staff just suck the life out of the place. No one smiles, they only talk to you to take your order and bring the bill. They just seem like they don't want to be there. The doormen are great though (especially the guy with the glasses and beard). He's friendly, makes small talk and gets the door for you. Maybe I'll start tipping him!

I had CHIT CHAT BURGER, poutine, and beer, and the food was all delicious. There is cilantro in poutine, so if you are a Korean who doesn't eat cilantro, ask them to leave it out! The service was particularly good. As of November 23, the total cost including tax and tip was CA$33.

Food was delicious, good value for alcoholic drinks but they are on the sweeter side.

Stopped in after a show. It’s very odd to be seated by a bouncer at the door. We enjoyed our burgers. I ordered mine with no bun and was charged an extra 50 cents for lettuce. My burger came with lettuce on the menu and I didn’t receive a discount for no bun. Literally they put an extra piece of lettuce on my plate. The burger was not wrapped which is fine, but it’s incredibly ridiculous to nickel and dime customers over a piece of lettuce. Left a bad taste in my mouth for sure.

My burger was fantastic, double bacon & cheese but the mvp of the night was the gluten free bun my wife had! Unfortunately the fries are not gf but the burger is worth it!

If only they put the same level of care into the food as they did the decor. The food was absolutely dissapointing and I would be embarrassed to serve that. Especially at that price, you would expect better. The burger was a sloppy, carelessly thrown together dish with a patty dryer than the desert. And overcooked to the point where it was chewy like bubblegum. The bun was a soggy mess that tore apart when picked up. Its convenient they serve it to you in a bag because it's all going to end up falling into there anyways once your dish falls apart. Very cafeteria vibes, maybe you'd enjoy this slop better if you were drunk. It's good they have cheap shots because your going to need them to even enjoy this food. The wings were equally shameful, the breading came off like a gloopy paste and the sauce was nothing special, it was barely even coated properly. The milkshakes were the only good thing about this meal, but even those. There is nothing notable about them at all, there's many other places nearby you can get better milkshakes at a similar price.I had to also repeat myself multiple times to the server, seems like he didn't even care if we enjoyed the food or not. Left a review on Instagram as well and the restaurant replied with a heart face. Don't seem to be the type of people who actually care about what their customers think and would rather serve overpriced slop.Long story short, if your in the Downtown Granville area, SKIP COMING HERE. Even Fatburger is better than this. Save your money, don't even bother coming to Chit Chat Burger Bar, you should have more respect for yourself than that.If I could rate it lower than a 1 I would.

I went there for a party 2 weeks ago and had to take my family back. We are big on burgers and a bit snobby when it comes to quality. We were not disappointed. We got 4 burgers (all different) and 2 reg. fries and kids got 2 milkshakes that they loved. I highly HIGHLY recommend this place. I was sad to see it not busy when we got in, but by the time we left (6:30pm on Fri.) the place was1/3 full. They also have great happy hour drinks!
