It was the most disappointing experience. They totally ruined our New Year's dinner. This place used to be our favourite local Italian place and we visited many times, but what happened in the last few years??? The food was terrible. Did they taste it themselves to see if it's OK? The pasta sauce was too salty, too much, and it was just like canned sauce. The meatball was pasty. The pannacotta was way too sweet and it was nothing like it used to be.
Worst was the service. My friend dropped her fork, but the server who happended to be right there simply walked by. Did she not hear that? We were the only guests and she was right there.
Water was luke warm, and it took them so long to bring us the menu. Also, after the salad, they asked if we wanted the new fork. Why ask? It has mayonnaise from the salad. Just change it, like you used to do.
Then the worst part of all was that the two Asian servers kept chatting right behind us, on the counter, wiping and sorting tons of cutleries, making loud metalic noise for a very long time. Why all this noise right behind us? Why chat louder than ourselves?They had absolutely no sensitivities to the elegant atmosphere of the interior or the quiet music. Totally a cheap restaurant now in every respect.We will never go to this place again.

Lovely atmosphere with great classic music. Delicious food, I had the arancini, spaghetti, and tiramisu. All courses were great! Oscar provided our table with exceptional service. He was so polite, and friendly. Oscar definitely made our dining experience special. Thanks Cibo and Oscar!

**Disappointed by the Long Wait**
We waited over 50 minutes, even with a reservation. Service was slow, and no one bothered to update us on the delay. By the time our food arrived, the frustration had ruined the experience. Not worth the wait.
I've been to Cibo Trattoria for the first time, it is an italian restaurant with authentic italian dishes. Our server Oscar was really caring and kind. Anything we needed and asked he was able to answer! I will come back, and bring my family for sure.
