The portion size is generous for the price, but the seasoning and spiciness left me a bit disappointed.

Restaurantji Recommends
I ordered the curry chicken, and it was really good. It had a nice sweet ish flavour and was very well seasoned. Plus, the staff there were lovely. I also liked the restaurant, we were seated on the patio, and the decorations, news, and food brought me right back to Korea. Definitely coming back here next time I’m in the area!

We were a group of six who arrived at 11:30 p.m. The host accepted us politely, informing us we could stay until 12:30 a.m. and that a 15% group tax would apply. We respected both conditions and sat down.
When it came time to order, one member of our group chose not to eat. The server immediately told us that everyone at the table must order an item over $15, or none of us could be served. This policy was never communicated by the host before seating us.
The server’s tone was condescending and confrontational. We were told : “You were informed before sitting. Everyone has to order over $15.” This was not true, and the delivery was unnecessarily intimidating. We chose to leave quietly rather than argue.
It is deeply inappropriate to force someone to eat or spend money they don’t intend to, especially in a diverse city like Vancouver. For many, including those with dietary restrictions or cultural/religious fasting practices, this kind of food-enforcement policy is exclusionary and potentially mentally triggering.
Reading the reviews it is clear that we are not the only ones. Multiple reviews for this same branch mention the inappropriate service.
Restaurants have the right to set policies, but they also have a duty to communicate them clearly and respectfully. Denying service to a group because one person isn’t eating and asking how much to spend per person is not hospitality for sure and management needs to consider these concerns.
