I've bought these a few times before, but now when I buy them again, I find the product quality has deteriorated significantly.

The blueberry scones are much smaller, with only a few blueberries on the surface and practically none inside.

The rest tastes like low-quality powdered sugar, and the scones are probably not made with 100% butter.

They lack the rich, high-quality buttery flavor and don't match their price.

The cranberry sourdough bread is mediocre, just made with regular flour and lacks any special characteristics.

It's also too small; so small that it might bounce off the toaster after being sliced.

The price is really too high.

It's not worth buying again.

The cashier was nice. I got the mini cape seed loaf, regular sliced. I was happy with the service.

Cov’s corporate don’t care about customers. They email you to hear concerns about complaints and then ghost you. Dont waste your time to reply to their google review messages

Pathetic customer service and unhelpful staff at Kerrisdale. I mentioned that I didn’t like the sourdough bread, expecting a recommendation, but got nothing. The staff seemed clueless and had no product knowledge - the sales staff should know what they’re selling.

That said, the Country Grain loaf is good - but trust your instincts, not the staff. The sourdough, on the other hand, was too greasy and had a weird tangy taste.

They have freshly baked breads and goods every morning and I definitely recommend trying the croissants and pain au chocolat

Everyone, double check to make sure you are being charged the items correctly, if you are buying more then 1 item. I just got over charged for 3 extra loaves of bread.

Only place in town for a decent loaf. I like to make sandwiches with the Turkish flatbread, really ties the sandwich together

Everything has gotten remarkably smaller at this location. They seem to display the normal size looking items at the front, but when you leave and look inside the brown bags, the items are TINY!!

Wow… what a disappointment! We usually go to the Cobs on Broadway in Kits but they are doing renovations so they are closed. Anyways my kids wanted the cheese pull apart bread so we went to this location to get one. The cheese bread was not in the display cabinet so I thought they sold out. I asked and they said they have them on the shelf. I said I’ll take one and didn’t pay attention because I was expecting the same great quality of bread that I usually get at Cobs. The moment I walked out, the bread looked odd. I don’t see any cheese on it. I thought they gave me the wrong bread. Then I looked very hard and saw “some cheese” on it. So I thought ok maybe the cheese is inside…. Then I had to pick up my kids from camp and he was hungry so took some bread out and nope… no cheese.. nothing inside….. can’t believe I paid like $9 for plain bread… and we already left.. not only that, the staff looked like they don’t want to work there. No energy or smile. Will never come back to this location!!!!! I hope the one in kitsilano open soon :(

Service is horrible at this location. The workers seem to hate their job and barely any of them greet or smile at the customers. I love COBS but please either train your staff on customer service or get new employees. I stood by the door waiting patiently to be served as both tills were busy. Another customer comes in and the employee overlooks me and serves them first even after I told her I was waiting to be served. When I was finally helped, they did not even ask if I had a membership despite them asking the previous customer if they did. It honestly felt very discriminating. I always like to give people the benefit of the doubt and that maybe they were having an off day but every time I come by they are either chatting to their coworkers while helping customers or they have a bad attitude.
