They have freshly baked breads and goods every morning and I definitely recommend trying the croissants and pain au chocolat

Everything has gotten remarkably smaller at this location. They seem to display the normal size looking items at the front, but when you leave and look inside the brown bags, the items are TINY!!

Wow… what a disappointment! We usually go to the Cobs on Broadway in Kits but they are doing renovations so they are closed. Anyways my kids wanted the cheese pull apart bread so we went to this location to get one. The cheese bread was not in the display cabinet so I thought they sold out. I asked and they said they have them on the shelf. I said I’ll take one and didn’t pay attention because I was expecting the same great quality of bread that I usually get at Cobs. The moment I walked out, the bread looked odd. I don’t see any cheese on it. I thought they gave me the wrong bread. Then I looked very hard and saw “some cheese” on it. So I thought ok maybe the cheese is inside…. Then I had to pick up my kids from camp and he was hungry so took some bread out and nope… no cheese.. nothing inside….. can’t believe I paid like $9 for plain bread… and we already left.. not only that, the staff looked like they don’t want to work there. No energy or smile. Will never come back to this location!!!!! I hope the one in kitsilano open soon :(

Service is horrible at this location. The workers seem to hate their job and barely any of them greet or smile at the customers. I love COBS but please either train your staff on customer service or get new employees. I stood by the door waiting patiently to be served as both tills were busy. Another customer comes in and the employee overlooks me and serves them first even after I told her I was waiting to be served. When I was finally helped, they did not even ask if I had a membership despite them asking the previous customer if they did. It honestly felt very discriminating. I always like to give people the benefit of the doubt and that maybe they were having an off day but every time I come by they are either chatting to their coworkers while helping customers or they have a bad attitude.

I love cobs and frequently get my sesame loaf and pizza buns and ham and cheese croissants here. Usually go to the main street or cambie and Broadway location. I've been to kerrisdale a few times and their service is probably the worst and their croissants are not good. Their bread is still wonderful as usual. I was in the area and needed bread so swung by kerrisdale. The 3 staff members barely acknowledged me and little things like when i said thank you after the purchase, my cashier just turned around and started talking to her coworkers. If you can commute a bit further or live in the middle of locations, just go to the other ones.

So good, we went twice. Second time to get what we missed the first time! Favorites are the pizza bread and the cinnamon rolls. Great loaves of bread. Wonderful staff. Friendly customers. Not everything is ready when the store opens.
