I genuinely don’t prefer leaving bad reviews, but honestly it’s just a warning on where to spend your money. Walked in to this coffee shop while walking in Gastown as it looked very promising, but I was definitely wrong. I asked if the matcha is ceremonial grade and they assured me that it is. So, I ordered it and ordered a peanut butter cookie as well. The matcha is most definitely not ceremonial grade and I’m not sure if it’s matcha or green dye colored milk. Terrible, no taste, no flavour whatsoever. The cookie was cold and dry but it was edible. The service was good, the staff was friendly. I would step foot here again tho.

Don't come here! I came here yesterday with a friend. We ordered two cappuccinos and two vegan cookies/brownies (crazy prices). One cookie/brownie was hard as marble and hard to eat, tasting stale. I went to the guy and he kept telling me the cookie/brownie was good, so I told him to eat it. He tasted it and had a hard time chewing, but he kept telling me the cookie/brownie was good. I asked for another cookie, but I wasn't given one. I asked for a refund, but it wasn't granted. I didn't receive an apology from him. I will absolutely never go back to this place with its crazy prices and stale food.

Despite such a nice shop, the beverages fall short sadly. I usually try to enjoy my cafe drinks but the mocha, matcha, and lattes tasted… watery.
However, the prices were reasonable, customer service was excellent, and the vibes were immaculate.
