Good place for gluten free sushi. Portions are a bit smal but delicious. Great chef. Beautiful presentation. Nice for a date of you're watching gluten.

Wonderful little restaurant! I went there with my partner the other night after a fun day on Granville Island. I had noticed they had a menu with gluten free labeling on majority of it so I was interested in giving it a try (I'm celiac). It's a nice little place, I appreciated that it was on the quieter side with just some music and a TV playing a Studio Ghibli movie on silent. We ordered a total of 8 types of pressed sushi, 4 cuts of each. They were all amazing! Neither me nor my partner are vegan yet we loved all of it! The pressed sushi types were unique, tasty, and filling. Almost the entire menu is gluten free which is a rare site on menus, especially sushi menus. They asked for allergies and seemed well aware of celiac. I had no reaction afterwards either. The prices were also very reasonable. The total was about $50 for 32 pieces and an iced tea after tax (before tip). I'll definitely be going back.

Delicious and reasonably priced. Not too loud inside and service was great. Most of the menu is gluten free.

Delicious, filling, healthy and feel genuinely so good when I come here for a meal! Phenomenal sushi. The salmon and beef are brilliant, the eggplant is delicious too. Amazing how versatile vegan food is!

I was genuinely excited to try this vegan sushi restaurant, but it turned out to be a complete disappointment. I expected seasonal vegetables, thoughtful flavours, and creativity, but instead, the nigiris felt like a chaotic science experiment gone wrong.

The nigiris were made up of random fruits and vegetables thrown together; sour, sweet, and savory in the worst possible way. Many fruits were unripe, the avocado was hard and tasteless, and nothing paired well, leaving us baffled by the thought process behind these combinations. The rice was cold and undercooked, which is completely unacceptable for any sushi restaurant, vegan or not.

There were four of us, and we shared four different omakase sets so we could try various nigiris. Even sampling everything did little to redeem the experience. Nearly 80% of the nigiris were disappointing, though the short rib, salmon, and king oyster mushroom were okay. The “tuna mayo” was by far the worst, somehow the vegan version managed to smell fishier than actual tuna.

One positive: the presentation was fantastic. Every plate looked gorgeous and photogenic. We had originally planned to try the ramen and rice bowl afterwards, but after this omakase disaster, we didn’t bother and went to another restaurant to salvage the evening.

I honestly don’t understand how this place has such high reviews. Perhaps friends and family are boosting the ratings, because our experience was a straight train wreck from start to finish. This was for a friend’s birthday, and she was left very disappointed.

Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had! Tastes just like the sushi back in Japan, the plating is gorgeous, and the staff are incredibly kind. So thankful to have found one of my new favorite vegan restaurants!

Had one bowl of great ramen. When I came back for ramen, if was not available. Had sushi from here at a party and thought it was below average.

This place was fantastic. We got the pre-set menu of 16 pieces (4/each) and could select between 1/4 combos. Really unique pressed sushi and extremely affordable! My husband isn't vegan and really enjoyed it. We dined at the smaller restaurant and it was very cozy and quaint and had great attentive service. Would love to come back and try the main one in Chinatown with their vegan omakase menu.
