Good food. Fun experience. Recommend going with 4 people to get a private table or coming really early to snag a nice two person table.

Everything was good except for the comedy. Out of 5 comedians, 2 made me chuckle a bit. Crowd was on my side, not that funny. The host was the worst(sorry). Drinks were alright but too expensive. It was also annoying that we had a minimum to spend (2 things per person although we paid for entry). Idid enjoy the chicken wings though :)

I stopped by Comedy After Dark last minute after the game and ended up having a great time. It’s right near the arena in Gastown, so it’s super convenient if you’re looking for something fun to do afterward. I didn’t eat, so I can’t comment on the food, but the overall atmosphere was awesome — cozy, laid-back, and perfect for live comedy.
A bunch of people were still wearing jerseys from the game, so it seemed like I wasn’t the only one who had the same idea. The lineup of comedians was really solid — everyone had their own style, and the pacing of the show kept it fun and easy to watch. The host did a great job keeping the energy up, and the crowd was into it without being rowdy.
The staff were friendly and quick with drinks, which made the whole experience even better. It’s the kind of spot you can drop into without much planning and still have an awesome night. I’ll definitely be back — next time I’ll get there a bit earlier and try the food too. Highly recommend if you’re in Gastown and want some good laughs after a Canucks game.
