Delicious food with incredible service. Our servers were kind, on top of things impatient as my boyfriend and I tried to decide which meal to choose. I would definitely recommend the dumplings and the beef noodles with soy sauce.

This is a real hidden gem in Chinatown tbh.

There are so many new restaurants in the area that really don't serve good authentic Chinese dishes like this restaurant does.

Great portions, tasty plates and friendly staff

The name of this restaurant is wrong! They’re called “Congee Noodle House”, it’s written on their store. I drove around multiple turns and alleys just to find out Google has the name wrong as there’s another restaurant on W. Broadway with same name. I’m confused as heck!!! Boo.

I come here all the time for their delicious wonton noodle with duck, it is only $16.50. It comes within 5 minutes, a great value. Tinseltown mall offers free 2 hours free parking.

Good HK food in Vancouver Chinatown, we came here for lunch on a weekday and there was no wait. Ordered the roast duck (really good), BBQ pork (OK), roast pork (very crispy skin), wanton noodles (the wantons were very full and juicy) and vegetables. Service was perfunctory and the location is right at the edge of Chinatown, which can be intimidating for non-locals - not sure it’s worth the visit given other good options around.

I have been walking by this place for years and it’s always been full or moderately full. My wife and her friend first came here for lunch and she gave me a rave review. So today I was in the neighbourhood and hungry and decided to come by and have a look for myself. I had the hot and sour soup and it was one of the best I’ve ever had hands-down. I would definitely be back in the future and I highly recommended it. The atmosphere only gets a 4 because it’s kind of like an industrial feel. Not that it’s bad. It’s just a little bit hands off. Very, very reasonably priced and very large portions as well.

Good congee. Perfectly seasoned and well portioned for the price. BBQ duck and BBQ pork are also delicious. Great Gai lan as well.

Get the Wonton Mi, cheap and delicious.

Congee Noodle Delight used to be one of our go-to spots for Chinese food. The staff was always friendly, and the food consistently good . Unfortunately, our most recent visit left us questioning whether this is still the same place.

Something has clearly changed—perhaps a new chef, or even a change in ownership. The sweet & sour pork, was tough and overly chewy this time. It tasted like it may have been reheated leftovers . The roast duck on rice was even more disappointing: ,we were served mostly bones—the backbone, to be exact—with barely a shred of actual meat, and no drumstick in sight. I would recommend you not order the duck because other reviews confirm this.

To make matters worse, the portion sizes were smaller than before, leaving us both unsatisfied and frustrated. It felt like a significant drop in both quality and value.

Perhaps it was just an off night and we genuinely hope this was a one-time misstep, but it may be a while before we return.

Chanced upon this wonton noodle shop in chinatown and though it looks like a very simple restaurant and located in quite a run down mall, the noodle i ordered was very tasty and reminded me of home. The dumpling was huge and generous with fillings, the noodle a good chewy texture and the hot soup was very comforting. All at a very good price and a friendly service.

Cheap and cheerful Chinese food, with a large menu, generous portions and quick service. We particularly like the Singapore-style fried noodles, garlic pea tips and salt and pepper prawns (or squid).

It’s a fantastic no frills low key eatery. Prices are reasonable and service is fairly quick.

My most memorable dish is the crispy fried vermicelli with beef. It’s visually stunning and tastes so comforting.

My first experience with Congee. The food was excellent and the servers were very knowledgeable and friendly. The seafood Congee and fried donut were absolutely delicious.

There good is always my comfort food, Love their congee, noodle in soups and roast pork. portion of their foods is pretty big, and the price is decent. Recommended to try. Service is okay, pretty busy place during lunch time. Atmosphere also okay, not to crowded, space between table
