Live in New Westminster, but will still make a point to come here, during non peak hours for dining or take out. Their food is very good. Generous portions and alot less or no MSG. We like their wontons BBQ pork noodles.( Huge wontons and a la dente noodles). Their chow fun- stir fry rice noodles is delicious. The rice noodles are not mushy. Their hot pots are good. Seen some reviews and said service is rude. They often short staff or don't have enough on during peak hours, so we are just a bit more patient with them and say our ' please and thank yous ' plus give them a good tip. I know it is appreciated by them.

This place has gone downhill. We used to be regulars long time ago. Service is pretty bad. It's like they don't even care that you're there.
My partner asked the servers for some pepper. Waited and made eye contact as they walked back and forth after. I asked for pepper. Again we waited and they walked back and forth while I made strong eye contact and they clearly looked at me. Then I went up to the counter and took up space in the path, they finally gave me some pepper.
They don't care that you're a customer. People line up to get a seat while dirty tables are vacant and waiting to get cleaned. Food has always been mediocre.

I was ill for two weeks and survived by relying on takeaways from this store. The beef sliced porridge is good and the portion is large. I like their wontons and dumplings the most. They are big, filling and delicious! I personally am not used to eating lo mein because the alkaline water smell is too strong and a bit choking, but the braised beef brisket in lo mein is delicious.

Prices reasonable and quick service.
Server was rude and told us to leave as soon as we finished eating during lunch hour. We didn't tip as a result. Server complained she wasn't tipped and that the tip is a service charge.
Tips are not a service charge, the machine gives tipping as an option.
Surprised she complained. As a Chinese group ourselves, tipping isn't standard in our culture, hence bad service is tolerable.
Maybe the restaurant should consider paying their staff a higher wage if staff are instructed to kick people out as soon as their done eating.
