Nitro IPA ?

Great beer, great people

Lovely beer. The space is quite loud and could do with something to dampen the sounds.

The place rules. First of all their beer is top shelf stuff. I find the 20 Footer and the Poet’s Tears very crushable. And not only is their Nitro Stout the closest thing to a fresh Guinness I’ve had since my trip to Ireland, but there are Eggplant Parms from Burdy Food Truck outside and self-serve sparkling water on tap inside. There is also a sauna outside!?? Also appreciate how they always seem to have fun partnerships with community groups around town, like sponsoring beer league hockey teams (go Wave Heads!) or raising funds for the Autism Network. Best brewery in the city.

Great atmosphere and beer!

One of the best breweries in Vancouver. Great atmosphere. The Birdie Food truck is awesome.

Good sour. Good food choices outside. They don't sell cider.

Had to go to Container Brewing before the end of the year, One of the breweries on an east van walk I enjoy. Friendly staff and clean, plenty of street parking as well.

Stopped in here (first time) for a flight on our way by. Loved the mural on the outside and access to the food truck. Comfortable interior with a good selection of taps to try from. In our tastings we didn't hit a 'must have again', but we also did not hit a 'run away' on our flights. The only issue I had was an newly discovered inability to read sideways on a corrugated wall to figure out what was on tap :)

Nice brewery located in Vancouver. Staff were friendly and helpful. Price, selection and quality are typical of type of brewery.

Lovely staff - the bartender saw my fiancé streaming our home NHL team’s game and pulled it up on his laptop for us to watch. Solid beer. Definitely would recommend a stop if you are in the neighborhood.

Great indoor and outdoor vibe. Every beer we tried was absolutely delicious. The bartenders were very friendly and gave some great recommendations for drinks too! So good we left and came back for a nightcap after we finished dinner down the road.

Imagine a cool, hip uncle in his 30’s. Doesn’t visit much but when he does it’s like a 2 week vacation at a cabin in the fall. You know he’s partied hard in the past, but he never tells you the crazy stuff. He has a different girlfriend every time you see him, but they all seem the same. Gorgeous, successful, with an air of crazy Eastern European. He talks about taking you jet skiing again. You suspect he can’t afford it but that’s the way he is; he’ll make it happen one way or another.Container Brewing is that uncle.

I don’t get it. I’ve been here 3 times and every time the greying bearded hipster guy (no shade, just trying to describe his appearance as the others seemed quite nice), is incredibly ornery and rude. I’m here spending money at your establishment, yet I’m getting a hard time about not knowing which IPA to order after asking for a recommendation because I can’t read your vertical and multi-dimensional menu. When I replied with “any of them, i’m not fussy” he said “water it is then!”. I’m all for breaking balls but his attitude is absurd and has become a running joke in our friends group. My partner also asked for a coffee and he responds with rolling his eyes and saying it’s going to be a while. The beer is adequate but frankly I just don’t want to support this guy.
