Beth is one of the kindest people I know, and has created a great community hub. She initiated setting up Leg-In-Boot Square live music, with picnic tables and patio umbrellas. She does many good works, and helps many people. AND her baking & cooking are fabulous. The view is great, too.

Coziest little place with a sunshine coast vibe in Vancouver. Friendly customers. Great drip coffee and the cookies are some of the best anywhere

Graciously welcomed and taken care of here on a super rainy day. I got the beef & pork sausage roll (warmed up). It was exactly what I needed on this atmospheric river Sunday. I feel like this is quite a special place. Also paid less than $4 (not including the tip) for a handmade sausage roll… in Vancouver?? Incredible.

Beautiful community cafe. Local hub for music and community organizing. Best scones (American style) in Vancouver. Rotating lunch menu.

A cute little bakery nestled away in leg-in-boot square. Fantastic location, great staff, with the patio right outside for enjoying the sea wall views.

Food has a homemade quality, filling, fresh and simple food, nothing overengineered.

Tasty scones, soup fantastic. Coffee reasonably priced. What else to say?

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this cozy cafe, which has a genuine character. I tried their pony cake and the bacon, cheese and onion scone. The scone was the best savory scone I’ve ever had, with perfectly crispy edges, a soft but not overly moist inside and a real taste of bacon and cheese! The pony cake was also equally satisfying, and I think even those without a sweet tooth would savor its natural flavor.
There was a mini concert at the community square right outside the cafe at the time I was there, adding to the lively and relaxing atmosphere. A truly delightful experience while visiting the sea wall :)

The owner kindly took the time to tell me about their gluten free offerings, and I bought 2 gluten free ginger cookies, which were delicious. (Not for celiacs, though, as there could be cross-contamination.)

A cozy little local cafe steps away from the water. Reasonable prices.

Thank you for your kindness and the cookies, I will be back! :)
