I loved dining here and I loved that they offered gluten free and vegan options. Service was great as well.

Stopped in for a casual weeknight meal with friends. You know this cute spot is the real deal when customers and the staff converse en français, a solid menu of classical French dishes sets the tone, and a wine list with options from virtually every region of L'Hexagone keep the authentic vibes going all night. Big shout-out to Noémie and Guillaume for looking after us!

Dinner at Coquette Brasserie was a delight. The seared tuna with citrus, avocado and pickled jalapeño was fresh and balanced, while the gougères were piping hot. PEI mussels marinière with blue cheese were outstanding, and the steak was perfectly cooked, crisp fries (though we prefer a thicker cut), attentive service, and a relaxed pace made for a lovely evening. Highly recommend.

Everything about it was five star, except the food was kind of lacking in flavour. Not bad by any means, just not as flavourful as one would expect from such a pricey place. And the $55 steak had an odd, overly soft texture. And $9 soft drinks?

We were extremely disappointed with our experience at this restaurant, despite the friendly, professional servers. Their attentiveness was the only highlight of the evening.

Unfortunately, everything else fell short. Right from the start, we were told that two of the wines we wanted to order were sold out—but only after we asked for them. A heads-up at the beginning of the meal would have been much appreciated.

The $35 charcuterie and cheese board was a major letdown. The portions were ridiculously small, and frankly, charging that price for what we received felt like a rip-off.

The dinner menu was also incredibly uninspired: vegetarian pasta with barely any sauce, bland chicken, and mussels that were utterly unremarkable. These are dishes you can find on countless other menus across Vancouver, with no effort to stand out or offer a unique dining experience.

And then there was the mille-feuille for dessert—another disappointment. The pastry was soggy, clearly having absorbed moisture from the fridge, which made the entire dessert tasteless and unappealing.

While the service was exceptional, the food and value for money were far from acceptable. Sadly, we won’t be returning and cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a worthwhile culinary experience.

Haven’t been here in years and their quality still holds. The duck confit was really well done - orange sauce was a great compliment. I really like how they do their dessert “menu” - they take out the actual dessert to your table to choose from!

We had a wonderful dining experience at Croquette Brasserie. Our waiter was both helpful and charming, adding a personal touch to the evening. We started with the moules-frites, sharing the mussels and fries as an appetizer. The dish was outstanding—perfectly cooked mussels paired with crisp, golden fries. For our main course, we chose pasta sourced from their sister restaurant, Fiore Famiglia, which happens to be our long-time favorite neighborhood Italian spot. As expected, the pasta was impeccable, showcasing the quality and flavors we’ve come to love. A special highlight was the crème brûlée, torched at our table by the waiter. Watching the caramelized sugar form into a crackling, golden crust was such a treat, and the result was as delicious as it was entertaining. The ambiance was made even better by live music from "Van Django," an incredible violin and guitar duo. Their lively and romantic performance elevated the evening to something truly magical. Croquette Brasserie is a gem we can’t wait to visit again!

I really liked the ambiance and decoration of the restaurant. The service was great and the waitress was very friendly. The food tasted good but as a French myself I was a bit disappointed by the menu, a little bit too basic and pricey. The specials were really good however the Soufflé was small compared to how pumped it can be in Paris. I’d like them to have a more diverse and original menu. That’s why I only put 4 stars. There is always room for progress but overall it was great experience !

Mediocre at best and overall disappointing. Trout didn’t taste fresh and desserts definitely weren’t - the tart pastry was totally soggy, but we never had a chance to tell our server because he was never to be found, and actually served our food smelling very strongly of smoke. Few customers so no atmosphere to speak of either
