Came here twice. The siu mai was completely different and much better on the second visit. The rest were as good as the first visit. I didn't take a photo the second time, but you can see how pale the xiu mai looks in this photo. The portions are generous, the quality (questionable consistency on the siu mai) is pretty good for the price. Overall, because this is much closer to Richmond and the value is there, this will be my go-to dimsum until they raise their prices. Atmosphere is no where close to the usual dimsum spots I usually go to.

10:45am on a Wednesday morning and the place was busy and, like many Chinese restaurants, filled with the noise of conversations and people enjoying their food! Other restaurants on Main barely open or not yet open, it was a marked contrast. The dim sum was delicious and served in generous portions. Though a little small, Corner 29 is definitely one of our favourite dim sum places. We strongly recommend it.

Came here with family to try out dim sum as we heard it was good but knew the service was going to be mediocre.
We ordered a few dim sum dishes, congee and rice pot (not in pics). All the food was tasty and delicious. The congee had something I never seen before and it was dried tangerine peel (see last pic). My mother-in-law says it helps with passing gas (not sure how to write it in chinese).
Service was as expected. Like many other reviewers, the servers looked grumpy and didn't want to be there. One funny thing is when the server gave us our congee, my wife said where is our spoons? Funny because the next table who also got congee asked the same thing. So I went up to the server to ask for some and he pointed at the cutlery station and said to help yourself ... uhm ok lol. So grabbed enough for our table and the table next to us.
Will come back again for the food and hope for the best with the service...lol
Parking: You need to look around for free parking on side streets as parking on Main St requires payment now.

The price has been increased today and is in line with the external price. I will come again. What a disappointment.
A gem and one of my go-to spots for dim sum. Make sure you get in at the top of the dim sum hour so things don’t get sold out. Reasonably priced and good quality.
