Coffee and service is amazing, it’s a nice & chill atmosphere on a rainy day! Thank to Sofia I believe it was - for the best Americano I’ve had! I will say the place needs to be properly stocked as everything seemed empty when I was there, including toilet paper, paper towel, and even ingredients which reduced food and drink options. The girl working seemed like she was working really hard, it just makes me wonder where the management was on that Sunday morning.

I have high expectations of coffee as we NZers. Well, this coffee was fantastic! Really delicious, highly recommend (and a fair price at $6.25). We had friendly service and wish we were staying for a meal as the menu was great. Lovely atmosphere and really clean premises.

Parking: As the cafe is on a corner, there are a few options.

This used to be a great place, but the quality of the service has dramatically decreased in the last year or so. The place was nearly empty and there were 2 waitresses at the till, but we had to wait 10min until they take my order. I went to dine today for lunch. We ordered 3 sandwiches, 1 lemonade and one smoothie. They have about 8 different smoothies on the menu, but they only had one available...this is because they don't prepare them fresh anymore, they just get a frozen pouch and heat them up. I had to ask again after 10 min of waiting to get the lemonade for the kids. Eventually I realised she forgot to prepare my sandwich so I reminder her. After being there for a good 25min (my kids were done with their sandwich by then!), I asked again about my sandwich. She said she was out of salad, tomatoes, and cucumber (so basically everything she needed for my veggies sandwich!), and she was waiting for her boss who went to buy more!!! If I hadn't asked I would still be waiting there! Actually I was so shocked by her answer that I didn't know how to react. I asked if I could get anything else instead and she just looked at me speechless. So I told her to give me what she had started to prepare - 2 toast with bad cream cheese and I guess what was the last leaf of salad in the kitchen - because I didn't have time to wait any longer. She didn't offer a refund or anything (15$ dollar just for toast & cheese...). At least she was polite. I still can't believe the level of incompetence and that they can't even realize how bad the service has become. Obviously I'll never go back again.

I like the place, but it’s the slowest place ever. I had to wait 15 minutes to place my order and another 10 minutes to get the coffee. I saw people leaving because it was too much, and the place was mostly empty. I felt sorry for the guy; he definitely needs help.

This was my local 12 years ago, and nothing has changed ? Great coffee, lovely bites to eat, a very calm and quiet atmosphere, people reading and working and chatting quietly. And they still have the sign about unattended children being given an espresso and a free kitten ? Love it!

The coffee is good here! Also they have options for gluten free/vegan people that are soooo good! Solid choice.

New ownership had increased the prices to absurd levels while quality has gone down. No outlets at any of the tables. Bathroom is filthy, flies everywhere. Used to be one of my favorite neighbourhood cafés but now I will not step foot inside. Miss the old owners!

What sets Corner Cup Coffee House apart is not just its exceptional beverages and snacks but also its commitment to creating a community space. With regular events like live music nights and art exhibits, it's a place that not only serves great coffee but also enriches the local culture. Corner Cup Coffee House is more than just a coffee shop; it's a warm, inviting space where quality, community, and culture brew together perfectly. Whether you're a coffee aficionado or just in search of a pleasant spot to unwind, it's definitely worth a visit.

Just around the corner from my house...had only gone in for coffee once. Decided to treat 4 friends for lunch. We ordered 5 sandwiches, and pop. The sandwiches took 30-45 minutes to be presented...served one at a time...the drinks and dessert were forgotten until I reminded them. The toasted sandwiches were meagre, and cold, desserts were stale (my guess is at least a week old). If I could give them negative numbers, I would.
