I really love this little place in the corner of Gastown. I think it's runner by these two old gentlemen, and it feels that they were friends and one day decided to open a small sandwich shop and serve people affordable food with decent quality and a smile :)The food is legit good, nothing fancy just a simple sandwich that is made with mostly common ingredients, but complimentary to one another, bang for your buck to be honest specially if you get them with the soups.Service is to the point they get your order at the cashier, and bring your food, and they leave you alone to enjoy the scenery of the window or just suck in the old school antics vibe of the interior based on where you choose to sit.
Such a cozy, warm food place. Have been meaning to go here for a very long time now and it did not disappoint at all! The food was amazing, the owner was so king and absolutely loved the ambiance of the place.

A year plus later after visiting Vancouver, I still think of this cozy, delicious Cafe that serves up a hearty meal and a calming ambiance. Tasty, good value, enough variety in options.
The best Rueben i’ve ever had. Chicken noodle and clam chowder were also a hit. Views ware wonderful, was able to watch friends leave on their cruise from the top floor of cafe.

Fabulous little spot that would be a regular place if i was local. stunning views of the river. Clam chowder excellent, with toasted tuna melt very tasty. Gents serving are a pleasure. They have toilets' - you need to request a key - an experience.. v reasonable - highly recommended.

The food was really good, homemade vibes. It’s like my grandpa made me a sandwich, you just know it was made with love. The service was great. So kind and welcoming. The decor was almost like an authentic Italian café/deli, very vintage. All in all, just felt comforting and not like the corporate cafés.
