Stopped by Crackle Crème on Union St for a dessert fix and it didn’t disappoint! The apple pie crème brûlée was spot on because it really captured that apple pie flavor, even the crust, without the crust texture (pretty cool, actually). The honey lavender was smooth and fragrant, though definitely a more mature flavor so the kids gave it a thumbs down. The alfajor was delicious but I wish it had that chocolate dip like they do in Argentina. The macarons were cute, just okay...
I was introduced to this dessert cafe by a friend. They specialize in two things: character macarons and creme brulee, and also coffee and tea beverages. The creme brulee comes in an assortment of unique flavours. They have both regular and vegan creme brulee, and the vegan flavours are just as interesting and varied as the regular flavours.

The staff has passion and is consistent; while the room's tone is relaxing, and whimsical-sort of like you're off in some fantasy novel of the future... Its a feeling-just try it!
