Came in with my family for breakfast, was told to wait outside for them to set a table, after 15 mins of waiting for a table that was already empty when we arrived we sat for 20 minutes waiting for menus and left. Server was rude, terrible service

Wasn’t bad, just underwhelming for the price.

Nice little café in Yaletown that serves good healthy breakfasts, like this delicious all-dressed acai bowl!

Wanted to support this new breakfast/lunch spot in Yaletown. Brought a business client there, which was a good idea till we walked in.
The place is small and the tables are right next to each other. There is no space to have a normal conversation.
Was seated and felt so bad cause a couple was trying to have a romantic brunch, but due to everyone hearing them (they were being quiet due to the spacing), it was awkward.
Then, some guy decided to have a full conversation on his phone while shaking his leg and shaking the bench. Which was annoying, so we and the romantic table asked him to stop and lower his voice.

Food
Chicken & Waffles - chicken was a bit overcooked, and the Waffles were actually not bad.

Our other meal was a breakfast with scrambled eggs. Eggs came back scrambled, but the whites weren't fully cooked and just not appealing.

We asked our server if the eggs scrambled and fully cooked. Mind you, the tables are tight next to other tables. The romantic couple could see that the eggs were not fully cooked. Without even fully looking, our server confidently said yes. Then she said it was cheese and said thats cooked. It was very upsetting if someone had a legut issue with food being fully cooked. The server didn't want to check and give the customer the meal they ordered and paid for.

After some awkwardness, the server finally agreed to get a new order of eggs scrambled and fully cooked. We had to ask for a small plate to remove the undercooked eggs. Scrapped them off the original plate and had to wipe up the runny scrambled eggs.
They brought us eggs again that were so scrambled hard that it looked like yellow taco meat. It's quite funny and made us upset.

Then, I waited 10 minutes for our bill to the point that we just went to the cashier and paid.

I like to be positive and don't say anything negative. But going here for brunch/lunch made myself and my client both agree to never go here again.

Sorry, but I have to be honest

The croffles were delicious! The Breakfast of Champions was a bit too dry, but the bacon inside was smoky heaven.

I can because I was excited for possible GF options. The GF 'crepe' was the worst thing I have ever had at a restaurant. It was hard and sandy, literally just a white, hard, crumbly/sandy thing folded in half. I was told by the server that just put dry tapioca flour in a pan. She also spent about 10 mins telling me that that is how it is supposed to be and repeatedly asked me if I had had it before. My wife's benedict was also not good, the hollandaise was over beaten and so was basically mayo. DO NOT recommend.

This place is cute with great gluten free options and vegan options, a little too much salt in the food and batters. The buttermilk chicken was dry salty and burnt so my boyfriend could only eat a little but their Craffle was so good .Coffee is good, I didn’t get anything sweet but the desserts look good. This was our first time there and the Assistant Manager Talia was really helpful and friendly. However the manager was a bit rude when she came to my table to get my order even though we had already given our order and when I asked questions about the menu she was not helpful. Next time just let Talia handle it thanks. I really enjoyed the tapioca crepe its a great option if you don’t want bread.I’ll go back to try other options for sure but my first impression was 3/5.

Food was ok, a bit too bland I felt for my liking. I will try a few more vegan Items in the future may be. Also the wait time was quite long which I expected given the rating.

Vegetarian options: These are quite a few Vegetarian/ Vegan options
