It's my go to place for good Indian food. Just love how they add slivers of ginger for garnishing. The portions are big. One portion is a two meals for me. And super cheap....still, I would go here even if it's priced higher. I feel he should to, to stay in business, so I end giving more tips.

It’s a hole in the wall place with good food . Had the dal , paneer tikka and samosa all had good taste. Fresh naan and roti . Server and chef both were very nice . Worth a try for an inexpensive Indian meal

Got a butter chicken late at night, was very buttery and didn’t have much flavour unfortunately. Maybe they taste better when it’s not 11pm. Great deal for amount of food though if you’re not picky!

Good food, adequate portion. Do not expect high dining experience as they are located on the entertainment club strip.

I wanted to give this place a chance but kept getting put off by the location which is not on the most glamorous part of Granville and always has people smoking right outside… but I finally braved it, and no problems with the environment inside. It’s just small. The menu is all basic Indian dishes. The lady who took my order was so nice, I kept changing my mind while I was ordering and she kept smiling through it even though it was probably frustrating. They didn’t have me pay until after I ate and I almost forgot to pay because I’m so used to paying when I order.
I ended up ordering a chana masala rice bowl and a mango lassi. The portion for the bowl was very generous, a little heavy on the rice proportionately, but there was still plenty of curry so I just had some rice left over at the end. The chana masala was very good. I saw some pictures online that looked soupy but this was a nice rich and tangy tomato gravy. Medium heat was substantially spicy! The mango lassi was also surprisingly good, it really tasted like fresh mango. Really the only downside is that the food all comes in plastic bowls. I normally at least use my own cutlery in these situations but the spoon was already stuck in the bowl when they brought it out… oh well. The food was good at a good price. I would go back despite the unpleasant location.

Very clean humble hole in the wall type of restaurant but don’t let their humble appearance fool you their food is absolutely delicious and made before you acompañéis by fresh naan. Delicious, kind, courteous. I will always come here!

The food at this restaurant is incredible! The portions are enough for 2 people and everything is authentic, fast, and seasoned. I had the butter chicken bowl and the vegetable samosas, both dishes were great. However the service isn't great, no smiles, no greeting, and difficult to communicate what I wanted. I ended up getting two samosas when I only ordered one, then was charged for two, along with being treated like an inconvenience at points. If you come here, highly suggest getting take out or delivery from an app because the environment simply isn't worth it. Price was good.

Unfortunately, since the shop came under new management, it's not what it used to be. The ingredients taste cheaper, and there's not as much "love" put in the dishes, it feels like. When it was just Crave India, the meals were incredibly hearty and packed a lot of punch in terms of spice and flavor. What you get now is a far cry from that. I can't say it's "bad", but it's just sad to see another local shop go the way of many others. I have to assume it's to stay afloat in the rough Vancouver market, but I'll always miss what it used to be. At the very least the service is still great and it still has that "hole in the wall" vibe, but what used to be a 5/5 spot to eat is unfortunately now a 2.5/5 "okay" place if you're really desperate for some curry.

A respectably priced and great quality indian food restaurant option if you're in the downtown area. The staff are friendly and the place is kept clean and presentable.
