Unfortunately, since the shop came under new management, it's not what it used to be. The ingredients taste cheaper, and there's not as much "love" put in the dishes, it feels like. When it was just Crave India, the meals were incredibly hearty and packed a lot of punch in terms of spice and flavor. What you get now is a far cry from that. I can't say it's "bad", but it's just sad to see another local shop go the way of many others. I have to assume it's to stay afloat in the rough Vancouver market, but I'll always miss what it used to be. At the very least the service is still great and it still has that "hole in the wall" vibe, but what used to be a 5/5 spot to eat is unfortunately now a 2.5/5 "okay" place if you're really desperate for some curry.

A respectably priced and great quality indian food restaurant option if you're in the downtown area. The staff are friendly and the place is kept clean and presentable.

I have ordered takeout from this restaurant on four or five occasions - it has to be some of the best Indian food at a reasonable price in downtown Vancouver. I highly recommend it. The chicken tikka masala is my favourite. I also love the garlic naan. The service is also impeccable, the owner Is kind enough to sometimes throw in complementary treats every now and again.

Crave India offers some delightful flavors that truly stand out, with dishes that are both tasty and satisfying. The food is definitely the highlight, with a variety of options that bring the authentic taste of Indian cuisine. The prices are reasonable for the quality you get, which is a nice plus.

However, the ambiance is a bit of a letdown. The space is quite tiny, and the surroundings could be better, as the shop lacks a cozy or inviting atmosphere. It’s not the most ideal setting to enjoy your meal, but if you're looking for good food at an affordable price, Crave India is still a solid choice. Overall, I’d say it’s worth a visit for the food, though the environment could use some improvements.

Yummiest indian food here. Definitely feels like mother’s love. Don’t judge the book by its cover, fits best here.
Rajma Rice and Dal Makhni is a must if you are here.

Food was very oily, rice was overcooked and the chicken was dry. Seems like a tourist trap.

Came here as a regular for their naan wraps when it was called Crave India. The restaurant has since changed ownership and are called Mild 2 Spicy now.

While the service was good, the food was not. The butter chicken wrap tasted like ginger and salt.

It's unfortunate, because the nice staff cannot make up for the tasteless food that is oversalted and loaded with ginger.

The atmosphere is what you can expect from a place to get a quick bite to eat.

Hopefully they can get the old recipes from the previous owners.
