I am very disappointed. Dated December 27, 2024 around 11:18pm, I have visited the store. The person was very ill mannered and aggressive. The ice cream was melted. When I asked for refund , he denied. He didn’t give me the receipt also. I paid by cash. I don’t know he is taking the money for himself or what. Why he didn’t give me my receipt? I am seeking attention to the higher authority.

The counter staff were being yelled at by a rather unhinged individual (see previous 1-star review).
The customer was angry because Dairy Queen didn’t have enough non-dairy options for her liking. The counter staff attempted to explain that they don’t have anything to do with the menu and she raised her voice at them, made some rude comments, and stood outside the store taking photos of us.
Despite the cuckoo bananas customer, the employee served me with a smile and friendly attitude. the pumpkin pie blizzard is SO GOOD by the way- definitely get it with the whipped cream topping 🤩

Last month I picked up a cake order I made 2 weeks in advance. Called to confirm the cake was ready and went to pick it up. Cake was not there they tried to give me a complete different one then pulled a plain cake from the back of the freezer and I had to wait 30 minutes for them to decorate it. Also did not put the correct colours. Today my boyfriend went to pick up my cake and again called and confirmed it was ready. They got the colours wrong and instead of blue icing they put yellow? Cakes tasted delicious just not happy with the service especially when the cake order were made weeks in advance with lots of back and forth confirmation regarding the colours.

Love the Dairy Queen. This is a small shop on Pacific Avenue in Yaletown. It’s busy in the summer when it gets hot. Lots of walking business. Obviously the ice cream, dessert and other treats such as blizzards are the most popular item although they do also sell packages of things like dilly bars, and ice cream cakes and the lake. I’ve never tried their hotdogs. They seem to have there. They don’t seem to have hamburgers or any other fair. There’s no place to sit here but so you can sit outside or walk along the sea while you eat. There’s also Davide land park across the street.not particularly late but as a snack after dinner sits alongside row restaurants, including Subway at Chinese tea shop Mexican restaurant and more can enjoy savoury fair and then a treat afterwards if you like. Also close to the subway station. Street parking.

Me and my friends love DQ, but we went robson location yesterday and there was a huge line up which is okay on Saturday night. However, the guy who is manager or owner was so aggressive to the cashier at the time we were in the line. We got some blizzards and a cup of water. Blizzards were so delicious as they supposed to be. Store was understaffed and also I wanted to have another cup of water after I finish my blizzard. Cashier said that they cant give me twice in a day, so he has to charge it. I dont know I might be wrong, but if you are selling heavy desserts, you should be more welcome to thirsty customers. Thank you
A clean, central, and great late night ice cream spot! I thought the customer service was excellent - I struggled to pick a flavour and ended up being recommended a most delicious ice cream combination I otherwise wouldn't have tried. Thank you for that!
